• Battleship Missouri Memorial - Tour the USS Missouri, affectionately called the “Mighty Mo”. This battleship, which saw action in the final year of the war with Japan, was the site where Japan signed the official surrender documents. Besides its historical importance, the Mighty Mo provides insight into life aboard a battleship.

The tour highlights USS Arizona and Missouri, embodying the start and conclusion of World War II. The connected galleries ‘Road to War’ and ‘Attack’ showcase photos and artifacts that bear witness to the Pearl Harbor events and World War II. You’ll watch a brief film explaining that pivotal day and why it mattered. This is followed by a boat journey to the USS Arizona Memorial, the final resting spot for the ship’s 1,177 crewmen. The USS Missouri has served with honor through World War II, the Korean War, and the Gulf War, boasting a 51-year career after its launch from Brooklyn’s Naval Shipyard in 1944.
