New to diving? Explore our beginner-friendly PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience. First-time divers can benefit from a one-on-one training session, where you’ll learn the fundamental safety rules and techniques required for diving, all under the watchful eye of a certified PADI professional, followed by a guided tour of the magnificent reef! Marvel at the diverse marine life that calls Hawaii’s famous reefs their home – from sharks, turtles, and eels to rays, octopus, starfish, crabs, unique Hawaiian fish, dolphins, and much more!

- All divers must provide weight, and date of birth and be able to swim.
- Divers must NOT be flying within 24 hours of diving.
- Dive Oahu has a 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled dive will result in forfeit of payment.
- Minimum age 10 years old! 10-11 year old require an additional fee.
- Must review and clear a medical questionnaire prior to diving. No refunds will be given for a failed medical release within the cancellation period

Snorkeling times 100 - Saw a sea turtle which is always cool but to be honest you can see these snorkeling sharks cove and other parts of north shore. What you don’t get is the feeling of being 30 feet down in another world. It was AMAZING!

Amazing first time diving!!! - This was my first time diving and it was such an amazing experience. Our captain Adam and dive instructor Jarod were very patient, and helpful. I felt completely safe and had lots of fun. We saw several turtles, tons of fish and even a Manta Ray. I will 100% book this again!! Thanks for such a fun experience.

Awesome Dive Experience with Adam and Jared - Jared and Adam were excellent. Although I wasn’t able to make the dive I still had a wonderful experience. The rest of my family had an amazing time. They did 2 dives and was able to see lots of turtles on the first dive and the 2nd dive saw lots of other types of fish. These guys were safety first while still making the experience fun. Will definitely return to dive with them.

BEST experience ever - I can not even begin to say enough amazing things about this company and their charter crew. From the boat captain to the instructors, it was the most unbelievable experience of my life. As a first time scuba experience for myself, they were so patient and knowledgeable on how to calm my nerves and also embrace my excitement. We ended up going as a couple on Sunday and then bringing 8 of our friends back to do another dive the following Tuesday. I also want to touch on the top notch customer service we received from our very first phone call to the end of our booking. I can’t say enough great things! It will most definitely be something we recommend to any and everyone we tell about this trip! Thank you, Dive Oahu, for making so many of my firsts so memorable. 10/10!

Great experience - Incredible! We were first time divers and I was nervous but the instructors were so patient and kind! We found sea turtles almost right away and saw a lot of colorful fish. Wonderful time!

Wonderful staff, and a great reintroduction to diving after many years away. - I hadn’t been on a dive since I was PADI certified twenty-$@&%# years ago and this was the best way for me to experience Hawaii’s waters and ease back into diving. The crew (Capt Nacho, Colton, Kevin, and Ami) were all very friendly, experienced, knowledgeable, and encouraging. I felt extremely safe and had an amazing time. I reoriented myself during the basic skills assessment mini-dive, then on the next dive I was completely comfortable while Colton guided us to Turtle Canyon. We stopped on the ocean floor and watched the sea turtles for a bit, it felt like we were in their living room. Next time I’m in Honolulu I’ll sign up for another dive with Dive Oahu.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR FIRST TIMERS & CERTIFIED DIVERS ! 10/10 - My girlfriend and I did the discovery scuba diving with Dive Oahu and had a FANTASTIC time ! Our crew (Colton, Heather Capt. Nacho) did an excellent job at making it a memorable and fun experience. This was my girlfriend’s first time diving and she was extremely nervous and scared for her first time. Our instructor Colton did an AMAZING job with her, taking it slow and helping her step by step and always making her feel comfortable and safe. Our photographer Heather got some awesome photos and videos for us and also assisted in keeping the dive calm and safe. Our captain Nacho was funny and laid back and did a great job at accommodating us. Whether you are an experienced diver or a first timer I highly recommend you book with Dive Oahu, if you or anyone in your party is nervous I highly recommend you ask for Colton. I can’t express enough how he was patient and able to handle the situation with my nervous girlfriend. Overall, the crew was amazing, the dive location was amazing and I highly recommend Dive Oahu. 10/10 Experience - We will be back !

Super Disapointing Instructor - I wouldn’t normally write a review, but I am really bothered by the experience and lack of communication during and after this trip. Many years ago I did an intro dive from shore and was looking forward to a similar experience and I had expectations this would be an enjoyable excursion for our family.
I would truly give 5 stars to captain nacho and instructor Lindsey. Both were super helpful and communicated the process well and helped out on the boat. We had only 6 people on the boat and she did a fantastic job with her group which all had an amazing experience in the water with her.
My first time off a dive boat, and although nervous I had a good understanding of what to expect from the brief training on board. My instructor said maybe 3 words the entire time and did absolutely nothing to assist with a breathing problem I was having while descending and swallowing sea water. I initially blamed myself entirely but in retrospect not getting any guidance from someone that has your life in there hands made it a terrible and frightening experience. I had to end the dive before it even started and have never been as disappointed in an experience as this.

Got cancelled in the very last minute - I had booked for Scuba Diving on 15th May at 7:30 AM. I showed up at the mentioned meeting point at 7:00 AM only to be told that the dive is cancelled as it was just me who had signed up for it. Then the receptionist was kind enough to check with the officials and told me that I can take the next ride at 10:30 AM. She also helped in modifying the booking as a diver given I had wrongly booked it as a rider earlier. Then after waiting for 2+ hours, I was told that the 10:30 AM dive is also cancelled. This was such a terrible experience!
