Beautiful and relaxing - Husband and I went while visiting Oahu. Company was very organized and professional. Had a blast kayaking out to the islands. I was the one place we could go where we weren’t around crowds!

Excellent activity (even though I screwed up the booking) - Accidentally booked for the 25th and showed up on the 26th. Staff was very accommodating and hooked us up anyway. Family kayaked to Popoia Island and to Lanikai beach. Windy conditions but still pretty easy paddle. Good snorkeling at the beach. Really enjoyed and would book with them again.

Great beachside adventure! - The self-guided tour was a great way to spend the day with the option of using kayaks, snorkel gear, bikes and boogey boards. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the store was well stocked with some great deals.

Great kayaking day - We did the self guided tour and had a blast. Marty and Natsue helped us with our gear and gave us recommendations for places to stop. Had an absolutely amazing time and would recommend to anyone looking to have some fun on the water. Definitely coming back here next time we’re in Oahu.

Best beach day of our trip! - I cannot say enough great things about this tour and shop! Everyone is so nice and Marty was informative about the great and conditions in relation to the destinations. Well worth it and makes for an amazing beach day. They have all the gear you need which made the process so easy and all of the locations are incredible to visit!

Good Service/Company, Weather made Kayaking less favorable - PROS: Liked that a lot was included in the day with flexibility (kayaking as long as you wanted for the day, bikes, snorkels, wet bags, lunch, etc.). We did some brief kayaking (more on that below) and also took bikes to Lanikai which is one of the best beaches on Oahu in my opinion. Staff was friendly and provided helpful info. Lunch at the counter/BBQ place next to shop was quite good (my husband had Loco Moco, daughter had a burger and I had mahi sandwich, all good). Having the ability to park at the shop and bike to Lanikai was great because there is very limited parking there. CONS: As others have noted it is a trek to the actual kayak launch location from the shop and could be difficult for some to pull the kayaks that far. I have a great sense of direction and still ended up taking a circuitous route. Also didn't love having to wade through the canal to get to the beach. We were told in the shop that there was higher than usual wind , but implied we would be fine kayaking in the ocean still just not super far. However, once we got out to the water and onto the beach, the worker there discouraged us from going out on the ocean at all since we weren't seasoned kayakers, telling us several others had flipped already that morning. We might have taken another approach to the day had we been told that at shop but ended up kayaking the canals which was fine, then went back to shop to have lunch, rent bikes and ride to Lanikai which was lovely so all turned out well.

Got over the problems to get the rewards of nature. - No promised plate lunch, BBQ restaurant not open. Given kid sized bikes, they were too small to pedal, had to walk them part way. Very hard to get kayaks to ocean. Polluted dangerous canal water, warned by locals. Beautiful beaches though. Stunning nature.

We got over the hurdles to the reward, which was the natural beauty. - The tour was mostly great, with friendly helpful staff in the shop. Unfortunately the promised Plate Lunch was not available which was bad for me, as I am allergic to gluten and couldn’t have pizza, sandwiches etc, had to settle for a salad. The BBQ place was not open as stated in the description. We were warned several times by locals that the water in the canal is dangerous and don’t go in it if you have cuts/ scratches. Luckily another tourist helped us drag our kayak over the giant hump of sand to the ocean, (Mahalo!), as the narrow opening from the canal to the ocean was partially blocked. Staff would not help with this. The bikes were too small and it was so hard to pedal them, we had to walk them part way to the beach. Once we were at the beach/ in the ocean it was golden.
