- 62-594 Kamehameha Hwy - 808 Surf School will make sure you get the best conditions at the best location for your skill level. Upon receiving booking confirmation I will contact you and give you the lesson location according to the ocean conditions for that day. On the day of the lesson we will have a short meet and greet then begin a 10-15 minute land briefing where we will go over surfing basics and ocean safety. After that we will get in the water and enjoy catching many waves as you improve your skills. It is also highly likely we will see many Hawaiian sea turtles throughout the lesson. All surf lessons are 2 hours long and all equipment is included. Instructors are lifeguard and Red Cross CPR certified.

Quintessential surf lessons from great instructor - Andy was fantastic! He loves what he does, and is great at sharing his passion with his students. He's a stand-up dude who earned my respect. So kind and freely sharing with everyone around him. What a great lesson! Thanks again!

First time surfing - Amazing first time surfing experience with 808 Surf School! Our instructor, Hugo, was great at making sure we understood how to surf and what to expect once we were in the water. Perfect location for beginners. I highly recommend taking lessons from 808 surf school. A must do while visiting Oahu.

Amazing surf lesson with Mike - My wife and I had an amazing surf lesson with Mike. Right off the bat, you could tell he was pro. He taught us how to position and spot a good wave resulting in us catching twice as many waves as we would have on our own. If you want to learn how to surf or improve your skills, I highly recommend taking a lesson with Mike – it was a fantastic experience!

Great family fun - First time ever surfing for my 17 Yr old son and 9 Yr old daughter. Andy was great! He had them riding waves to the beach on their second waves. Great instruction, ideal location for beginners, different wave sets as you progress. Easy to coordinate / pay with Michael through website

great experience - Mike and Andy were amazing instructors to my 6 and 8-year-old. They were able to support them in learning the basics and getting up almost on the first time. We will definitely be coming back and my husband and I will be joining. Highly recommend.

Had a great first-time lesson - Andy provided everything we needed (surfboards, shoes, rash guards, water) and picked a great location that was not crowded, felt safe, and had lots of small beginner-friendly waves. It was our first time surfing and we had a great lesson. His wife helped us take a picture with a board at the end. Thank you!

The best on Oahu!!! 🤙 - Hugo was an AWESOME instructor. The whole experience was very personal, professional and “chill.” Absolutely loved it. Based on our experience, I would say 808 Surf School is the best on Oahu! Thanks so much guys! And shout if it to Hugo especially!! 🤙
