Thank you for meeting the amazing guide! - Anyway, I was lucky to have found Sherry, my guide. Beyond what she talks about as a regular guide, I get the impression that she herself has enjoyed talking about everything she can about growing up on the island, raising children, surfing as a hobby and spending time with her family. It was a great day for the whole family to hear about education in Hawaii, housing in Native Hawaiian, surf spots on Oahu based on your own and your family's experiences, shopping information, and sightseeing programs that would be useful if you went somewhere else.
Lunch and snacks were included in the cost, so you could have a good meal without worrying about what to order.
Sometimes, when you go on a tour like this, you feel like you're running out of time, but Shelley takes a good look at each participant and asks if you want to park your car in a place that's easily accessible to the elderly, or if your kids really want to eat shaved ice, and she says, "Sure, all at once!" I thought that even though they forgave me, it was only because of the guides who really knew the island that I was able to make sure that I made all the journeys on time and without the stress of traffic.
Unfortunately, I couldn't join another tour due to limited dates, but if I could visit Oahu again, I would love to join another program at Shelley's request!

What a day!! - What a day! Let me tell you how great it is to tour with a true native of the island. Shelly has lived here her entire life and raised her family with the love of her life who was raised on the same street as she was. Her dad and her husband’s dad were best friends! She not only showed us the island she shared the history of her island and family and you could feel the love & pride she had she had for both. She shared her time with each of us on the tour and made us feel so welcomed and made us laugh all day until the end. We would recommend the Sites and Bites tour for folks of all ages. A wonderful day we will not forget.

Great Tour of Oahu Island - My husband and I did this really good tour of the island with several stops including restrooms and lunch on 2025 January 24th.
Our guide ( Cy ) was more than excellent he was an historian with an exceptional knowledge of the Hawaiian culture, He went above and beyond of what we expected from this tour.
The lunch we had was very good and took place in a nice little friendly opened area called Shrimp shack along the north shore. The stop at the Dole plantation was also nice.
If you are looking for nice tour around the island of OAHU look no further.

Excellent time, very friendly and funny tour guide and great food - What a great day! We traveled as 2 couples and my 21 year old children. We were picked up right on time and traveled on a small bus which was super nice. Our tour guide, Shelly, was very friendly and funny and taught us about all the things we saw, about her Hawaiian culture and local area. So much rich history there to preserve. The stops were beautiful and the food tretst tasty. As for the shrimp lunch on the North Shore.... The garlic butter shrimp was definitely on the top 2 of our favorite meals of the week. SOOO GOOD! I would highly recommend Aloha Hawaii Tours. We did 2 tours with this company.

Highly recommend this tour! - Really loved the tour and all the information that the tour guide gave. Got to experience great food! We had plenty of time to explore at each stop. Highly recommend this tour for first timers as you get to know the island.

Awesome Tour of Oahu with Shelly - My husband and I went on the Sights and Bites Tour October 10th 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Shelly was our driver/tour guide and she was amazing, so helpful, friendly, informative and Funny we were having laughs all day long while riding along and seeing the amazing sights of Oahu. We'd love to do another tour with Shelly when we are back in Oahu which we hope is not too far into the future, we are from Australia.

Make Sure You Know What You’re getting! - I was disappointed in the tour itself. When the brochure stated we were visiting the Macadamia Nut Farm, I assumed it was a tour of the farm - not a gift shop. ( And there was a huge sign saying “Farm Tours Available) The same with the Dole Pineapple Farm - it was a gift shop tour. Though there was a pineapple garden, a pineapple maze, and a train that ran through the farm, we were told there wasn’t enough time for those activities BUT there was 40 minutes to spend in the gift shop! All in all, very disappointing…

Disappointing - We were the second last to be picked up, so the only seats available were the back seat. These should not be sold as the wheel base makes the seats extremely uncomfortable.
Our guide was extremely garrulous and not that informative. Heard more about her personal experiences. The macadamia nut farm advertised is not a farm at all, just an outlet/gift shop. Free fruit samples were rather sparse. Thought we would at least get a free sample of the dole ice cream, and maybe a tour of the dole plantation, but again, only a gift shop. For $149:95 we expected a little more. Not as advertised. Not recommended.
