• 2699 Kalākaua Ave - Jump on the Surf School Bus and we will get you from wherever you’re staying in Waikiki to the beach and up and riding! We offer a complimentary courtesy shuttle. Our knowledgeable staff will meet you at one of our convenient hotel pick-up locations. You’ll be stoked to ride in our air-conditioned, clean, easy-to-spot yellow Surf School Bus or white shuttle with our logo on the side. After our friendly staff introduce themselves, we will shuttle you to our Ohana Surf Center located in the Waikiki Beach Marriott. From there you will get checked-in, geared up, and then will be shuttled to the beach for some paddle boarding!

Once by the ocean, you will meet your instructor and talk about your previous experience, swimming strength or any other concerns or conditions, then we’ll have you walk your high quality lesson boards to the beach. When you’re comfortable and ready, we leash ourselves to the board and into the water we go!

After the lesson, you’ll be taken back to the Ohana Surf Center where you can check out photographs, videos, or buy some merch for yourself or friends. Then after your purchases are made, we drive you back to one of our convenient drop off locations.

Our experts impart and share their love for wave-riding by coaching in the art of surf, stand-up paddle, and bodyboarding. Each member on board our team retains years of industry experience and possesses mastery in their teaching skills. We take pride in what we do and respect our ohana code in maintaining a fun, comfortable, and secure learning environment for our learners.

Your safety is our prime focus! You’ll find all our coaches and guides come with extensive professional training, including CPR, lifeguard, and first-aid skills, coupled with a friendly demeanour.

• If any participants have any medical conditions or injuries that we should be aware of please advise the staff ahead of time.
• If you are prone to seasickness, you may want to take a remedy you are accustomed to using before the lesson (talk to your doctor for recommendations).
• All of our written materials are also available in Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. We will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese speaking-instructors with enough advance notice.
• Please come prepared for the lesson by wearing your bathing suit, bringing a towel and making sure to apply sunscreen ahead of time.
• Complimentary transportation is available from select locations in Waikiki. Exact pick-up location and time will be emailed to you by the supplier. If you do not receive these details 24 hours prior to your lesson, please contact us.
