DISCLAIMER: Participants will not be dropped directly at Turtle Canyon; they must follow our guide and swim 10-20 yards to reach the location.

Head towards Hawaii Yacht Club at the end of the dock. As you are walking or driving down the dock, you will see a big ramp and sign on the right that says "Dock X", that is where we meet! Parking is $1/hr along the sidewalk.

Great Turtle Canyon Excursion - My son and I went on a snorkeling excursion to Turtle Canyon with Phillip and Daniel last month. They were very kind, professional and took great care of us. The weather and water were fantastic that day, so we were able to see a number of turtles, many schools of fish and even a pod of dolphins. Daniel took some great pictures for us to keep. Thanks, Phillip and Daniel! 🤙🏻

Worth it!!! - These folks were exceptional. Nothing short of professional, friendly and educational. After the fact I do regret not asking for pictures but I wouldn’t change the experience for a second. Highly recommend!

Go for it! - Loved the snorkeling tour - there were 6 of us total on the boat including 2 kids. Danny and the Captain were very nice and they ensured that we all had a great time snorkeling in the turtle bay. The boat was in very good condition and felt safe!

Amazing tour! Saw so many turtles!! - Thank you Captain Phil for such an incredible tour! We all had an amazing time visiting turtle canyon and taking pictures with all the turtles and fish there! I would 100% recommend this tour, and will definitely book again!!

A great way to see Turtle Canyon - We had a lovely time visiting Turtle Canyon with Hawaii Apex Charters. Even before the trip, Phillip was very professional and responsive with questions we had. And on the day, Phillip and Dani were very professional and friendly. The boat was clean and in great shape. And when we were snorkeling, Dani sought out different things to see and made sure the group saw them. Looking forward to seeing Dani’s photos of the day, as it’s clear he takes some amazing photographs. Overall, was a great way to see Turtle Canyon in a much smaller group with very friendly guides.

Unforgettable Day with Hawaii Apex Charters - If you're looking for an epic adventure on the water, Hawaii Apex Charters is where it’s at! From the moment we hopped on board, the crew made us feel right at home with their friendly vibes and awesome energy.
The boat was super comfy and had everything we needed for a fun and safe trip. The crew knew their stuff, and whether you’re a seasoned snorkler or just dipping your toes in for the first time, they made sure everyone felt at ease and ready to enjoy the day.
The absolute highlight? Getting to see a bunch of sea turtles at a cleaning station! It was pure magic watching them hang out and get cleaned up by little fish—it felt like we stumbled into their secret spa day. The crew made it even better by sharing cool facts about what we were seeing.
Shoutout to Ianthe, one of the crew members and a amazing photographer, who snapped some seriously amazing pictures of us during the trip. Those photos are memories we’ll treasure forever!
Captain Phillip is super experienced, hilarious, and full of amazing ocean knowledge. He made the trip safe, fun, and unforgettable!

Turtle Tour - We had a lovely afternoon trip. Philip adjusted the timing as the weather was better later. A short boat trip from the harbour to the Turtle cleaning station where we spent about 35 minutes in the water. We immediately saw turtles and numerous schools of various fish. Was not as much information about local wildlife as we had expected, but Ianthe was a very friendly and pleasant guide.

Just 2 guys with a fishing boat trying to upsell a friend’s photo business - Snorkeling in Waikiki- rather, 2 guys that have a small fishing boat trying to upsell their friend’s underwater photos for $50 each and if you don’t pay, then you are forgotten and complained about!
Our experience summary- The non-elusive human SCUBA divers were very active swimming along the bottom and scaring ALL fish life away from our 40’ depth (which is impossible for non-professional pearl divers to “free dive”) the water was so blue and literally all you could see in ANY direction…we were likely being watched and the brunt of ALL whale life pods in the vicinity. Chasing the boat against the VAST undersea current was EXHILARATING and filled us with exhaustion the likes of which Navy SEAL applicants are tested. To the sounds that were always over 100’ away by our guide of, there’s a turtle over here!!!! By the time we got there, the turtle had already changed course, swam up on the beach, made a nest, deposited her eggs and swam back out to us only to haul ass out of our area as soon as we got “close enough to see her”!
So I have asked for a refund and what I’m getting is harassment and refusals along with- it’s my fault because I (not my husband) brought my camera out in the water, trying to take pictures.
