We navigate through parts of Oaxaca before hitting the road that leads us straight to the town of Santa Maria el Tule, which is 10km away. Given that this is a leisurely route, we allocate about 1 hour for the transfer. Note: This tour is designed for individuals with prior biking experience and some physical endurance; it is not suitable for beginners.
- Tule Tree - We’ll take a break at the gastronomic market in Santa Maria el Tule for breakfast (if you choose the Food option), followed by a visit to the ancient Tule Tree. Afterward, we head to Santo Domingo Tomaltepec, which is 6 km or about 30 minutes away.
- Santo Domingo Tomaltepec - In Santo Domingo Tomaltepec, we’ll explore traditional bread and saddlery workshops, then proceed to the town’s water dam where we can relax and enjoy the scenery. After our break, we start our journey back to Oaxaca via the same route through Santa Maria el Tule.
- Continental Itsmo Tours - After resting in Santo Domingo Tomaltepec, we make our way back to Oaxaca, covering a distance of 16 km. We’ll take breaks for rest and hydration as needed. This return trip typically takes between 1.5 to 2 hours.

Let’s get to know Oaxaca, culture, history, art and gastronomy. Designed for people who enjoy taking recreational bike rides and want to see special places. We carry out our experience with a professional team, we will leave from the city of Oaxaca by bicycle, we will visit several places in 2 towns in Oaxaca. The first is 10 km from the city and is the warm town of Santa María El Tule where we will visit the gastronomy market and we will be able to have a traditional breakfast (option with Food), then we will visit the majestic ancient tree. The second place 6 km from Tule is Santo Domingo Tomaltepec, we go to the town dam and if we have time we can visit the house - workshop of a leather or skin artisan and a traditional bread workshop. Note: The departure and return is by bicycle and from the office or designated space in the city center (35 round km on average). It is necessary to have experience using a bicycle.
