We’ll enjoy a light breakfast (around 40 minutes) before embarking on a 2-hour drive to the town of Roagia (Hierve el Agua).

- Oaxaca - Our journey begins by picking up tourists from their accommodations within the city. For those staying outside the city center, a central meeting point is arranged. We’ll enjoy a light breakfast (around 40 minutes) before embarking on a 2-hour drive to the town of Roagia (Hierve el Agua).
- Hierve el Agua - We’ll explore the petrified waterfalls in Roaguia, taking a walk to fully appreciate the site. We’ll spend about an hour here, walking through the waterfalls to the lowest point to view the stalactites, stalagmites, and pre-Hispanic irrigation channels, before returning to the water pools. After some time to freshen up, we’ll continue on a 3-hour hike along trails to our next destination, Las Salinas.
- San Baltazar Guelavila - Following the 3-hour hike, we’ll rest at Las Salinas, where we can cool off in the river. Afterwards, we’ll head to the town of San Baltazar Guelavila for a meal (about 1 hour) with a local family, enjoying traditional local cuisine. We’ll also visit a local palenque to sample regional mezcal. After the tasting, our experience concludes and we head back to Oaxaca.

We will enjoy nature with a walk in the Oaxacan sierra. We will visit Roaguia, where the beautiful petrified waterfalls known as Hierve el Agua are located. We tour the place and at the end we make our walk along trails and sidewalks towards the town of San Baltazar where we will see Las Salinas, a special place where the river and the rock formation…
We will enjoy nature with a walk in the Oaxacan sierra. We will visit Roaguia, where the beautiful petrified waterfalls known as Hierve el Agua are located. We tour the place and at the end we make our walk along trails and sidewalks towards the town of San Baltazar where we will see Las Salinas, a special place where the river and the rock formation that houses it is. In San Baltasar we will have a traditional meal in the house of the settler and to close we will visit a palenque to taste mezcal from the area. In this tour we hope to become aware of the natural and cultural wealth of Oaxaca, of local consumption to help the economy of Oaxacan artisans and towns. We will know and learn traditions (gastronomy, crafts) and special places (petrified waterfalls, towns, rivers, landscapes), we will have unique experiences and memories.
