• Oaxaca - The tour begins by picking up tourists from their accommodations in the city or from the office. Everyone heads to enjoy a traditional breakfast at a local market.
• Mercado de la Merced - At the market (location may vary as needed), a traditional breakfast is served to energize for the entire tour. Afterward, the group proceeds to hike at Hierve el Agua.
• Hierve el Agua - The tour visits the petrified waterfalls in Roaguia, where a leisurely hike allows for exploration and enjoyment, spending approximately 3 hours on site. The tour covers the top to the bottom of the petrified waterfalls, offering viewing areas, photography spots, special local sites, and pools for free time. The tour then moves to a mezcal factory for tasting and relaxation.
• Parador Casa Espadín - Following the 3-hour walk, there is a chat and mezcal tasting at a local family’s palenque. After the tasting, the group proceeds to dine.
• Restaurante / Hotel Donaji - There is about an hour allocated for dining, with the location subject to change based on timing or needs.
• Oaxaca - After the meal, the group returns to the city of Oaxaca, with the journey taking approximately 1 hour.

Participants will delight in nature with a hike through the stunning Sierra Oaxacana. Breakfast will be enjoyed at a traditional market. The town of Roaguia will be explored, with walks along paths and sidewalks leading to the petrified waterfalls known as Hierve el Agua. The pools and breathtaking views will be savored. A traditional meal will be followed by a visit to a palenque to sample local mezcals. This tour aims to raise awareness of Oaxaca’s natural and cultural wealth, promoting local consumption to support the economy of Oaxacan artisans and communities. Traditions such as gastronomy and crafts, along with special sites like petrified waterfalls, villages, and landscapes, will be discovered, creating unforgettable memories.

• This tour requires a minimum of 4 passengers to operate. The tour can be cancelled after automatic confirmation, maximum 24 hours before the tour date, only if there is no minimum passenger. In the event that this happens, you will first be asked for a change of date, if you do not accept a full refund.
