As a professional surfer and a nomadic soul, I’ve spent countless days chasing waves across Central America. But every now and then, I stumble upon a place that offers more than just the perfect break. Zipolite, a hidden gem along Oaxaca’s Pacific coast, is one such place. I arrived in Zipolite with a sense of curiosity and excitement. The town, just 75 minutes from Huatulco, welcomed me with open arms. With a beverage of choice in hand, I sat on a swing, letting the sand tickle my toes as I watched the sun set over the ocean.
