They class was very informative as to process, the instructor Anna was knowledgeable, made the class fun and guided us through the process skillfully. The class is for those artistically inclined and those who are not. The class was extremely well presented The food and beverages available on site is some of the best vegan food in Oaxaca. Thanks to everyone there for making our visit memorable.

Highly recommended! My friend and I had a wonderful experience learning how to create artwork via the woodblock printing process. Our instructor did a great job at walking us through the various steps of the process using hands-on teaching that straddled any language barriers, and she was happy to help us individually along the way with any questions or techniques. Don't get discouraged! The final prints that our class produced were all very unique and we were all very impressed at how great they turned out... "This came out WAY better than I thought it would!" said nearly everyone. We met wonderful people during the class, all from various places, cultural and professional backgrounds, and very different creative abilities. The prints do have do dry for some time so most of the class opted to pick them up a day later (although I believe you can take them with you if necessary). When I returned to pick up my prints they were already rolled up and packed for transport in a tube, and my original woodblock was wrapped in tissue paper with my artwork printed on it! A perk of having the class at the Etnofood location was that we were able to order beverages from the restaurant while we worked too! This was a highlight activity during my stay in Oaxaca and I left with a new skill and tangible memory that will last a lifetime.

This was a fun class to learn woodblock printmaking that you see all around El Centro. We enjoyed learning this technique. The instructor was great, taught us a little history about woodblock printing and showed all the techniques necessary to make our own print. Our prints turned out to be our best momento from our vacation in Oaxaca. Everyone was super friendly. I would definitely recommend this class.

Agro Galeria is an amazing place, very kind people and such an inspiration. The young artist told us a lot about the culture and history of art in Oaxaca. To learn wood craving was very cool. The artist helped each one of us and guided us through the process. The tour was planned for 3 hours, but we stayed four hours and were still very welcome. We all left with our own piece of art! I‘d recommed it to everyone!

Eloísa is very knowledgeable and she gave us the history of printmaking in Oaxaca. Then she expertly and patiently showed us the techniques we needed and had all the tools. It was very organized and we really enjoyed the process. The finished products turned out great too!! We would all def recommend!!

The workshop was not exactly what we expected. We were given tools and loose instructions, with little assistance until the actual printing process. We expected more guidance, and possibly even having woodcuts ready where we could select patterns or illustrations to select from. My hands and clothes were stained, it would have been nice to know that was possible and plan appropriately. Or to have gloves or cleaning materials on hand. I am happy with the end result, but felt that the description and the teaching could have been better.
