Taste of Oaxaca - What an amazing experience! So wonderful to have Elizabeth as our guide. She not only shared with us the best of Oaxacan street foid, but told us so much about the culture of Oaxaca and Oaxacan food. I learned so much it was much easier to order at the restaurants after this tour.

It's a YES! - Wow, what a cool experience. Our tour guide, Elizabeth, was patient and very knowledgeable as a true local. Answered all our questions and was easy to get along with. Tour included a stops at two markets that were next to each other. Tried their tejate, cheese, meat sausages, some main dishes, and some pastries. Would definitely recommend this tour and this guide.

Good tour, good food - Coyote was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who took us to all of his favorite vendors. We tasted different foods and beverages along the way. The lunch at the end was huge. Go hungry!

Great Way to Spend Your First Afternoon in Oaxaca - We enjoyed a wonderful, and informative, mercado tour with Coyote today. He’s a good guide and an interesting human. Because our group was very small, we were able to discuss more than just food and the market. The food and the market were the main thing, though, and we were thoroughly satiated, food wise and tour wise, when we parted ways. Recommend 👍🏽👍🏽

Wonderful local food tour - Our tour guide was very sweet and knowledgeable. Tasting local cheese and mezcal was especially interesting. The larger meal at the end was delicious with a variety of local items like cecina, chorizo, tlayudos. The walk to the market is 15-20 minutes so be prepared for that. I recommend the tour have an option of meeting at the market.

Great food tour - I took the food/markets tour with Oaxaca by Locals that visited the Benito Juarez and 20 de Noviembre markets. My tour guide Coyote was absolutely incredible. It was just me on the tour so i think I got pretty lucky in that regard. Coyote was super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and made the tour easy to follow and understand. This is a must do if you’ve got limited time in Oaxaca and want to sample some of the local specialties. Highly recommend this tour.

OK without being... - OK without being wonderful. Plenty of food and well explained but it is a long walk from the booking office/meeting place to the markets on a very hot day. A meeting place close to the markets where the tour actually is would be much preferred
