Relaxed and fun - This tour was well organised and fun. The pick up outside the hotel was simple and the drive there was nice and smooth. I’d recommend sitting towards the front of the minibus as if you sit at the back you’re not able to see as much. The minibus is air conditioned as described and has usb plug sockets (although we didn’t test these.) The latter part of the drive was very beautiful going through the mountains. Johnathan pointed out places of interest and we stopped briefly at a bakery to try local bread (the sampling was included.) As the experience states you need to have $70 (pesos) spare in cash per person ($20 for the village entrance fee, $50 for the entrance to the pools and site.) Arriving there are toilets and a fair few food vendors. You can either walk down to the falls and back or go straight to the water. Jonathon explained we could get a guide included if we wished. The walk down to the falls is beautiful, very rocky with large steps down. We saw plenty of lizards and vultures too. The walk back up is slightly challenging. Take lots of water with you but the landscape is wonderful. The pools were beautiful to swim in and very refreshing. You just leave your stuff to one side. There are showers available (they require a small fee.) I’d really recommend this trip to anyone who loves beautiful views of stunning landscape and wildlife. We found it really enjoyable. Phillipe was a careful driver and Johnathan was very helpful.

Loved it! - It was an amazing experience! The driver and the guide were both very professional. Definitely recommend going down to hike and going into the water on top. Bring a swimsuit and a towel. They left on time and it was exactly 6 hours in total. Highly recommend these guys!!

Beautiful Views at Hierve El Aqua - The tour was exactly what I was looking for in an experience. Everything was pretty much as described. The van left on time and was very comfortable. The hike was fairly tricky so be sure to wear good shoes. Some of us were unsure we were on the right trail since the directions were not clear. Be sure to bring water and sunscreen and/or a hat. The scenery was worth the hike and the water at the pools is refreshing. Once you leave the trail, turn left instead of right to get to the pools. If you turn right (very steep path) you'll find the drink, food and other vendors.

Good trip, if you want to... - Good trip, if you want to just go to Hierve El Agua and non of the other stops. Minibus was comfortable and nice tour guide. Get about 2.5/3 hours to explore the site on your own which is plenty. Just make sure you wear sunscreen for the hike!

Well worth the drive - Stunning; if you visit Oaxaca, you'd be crazy to miss it. I suggest you take the hike below the petrified falls--the full loop, rather than doubling back--and then swim, as you'll be ready to cool off. Bring lots of water. We also enjoyed grabbing some tamales on the way out at the market.

Efficient service. - This is just a minibus to and from central Oaxaca to the site, but it does that job really well. It’s a central and easy to find meet point, the bus leaves on time and takes the time estimated (1.5hrs) to reach the site. Entry fees were as advised. You have three hours on site and then leave for the return. The three hours are entirely yours to spend as you like and there is no additional support, as advised. In short this does exactly what it says on the tin: gets you there and back in an air conditioned bus in a timely and professional way. Nothing to detract from five stars.

Great tour, short and sweet - If you just want a friendly ride to the waterfall and pools without the extras, this is your tour! Our guide only accompanied us from the city to the ticket windows at the waterfall and was friendly and available for all our questions. It’s pretty hot since you don’t arrive til noon, so be well hydrated. You’ll stay up there 3 hours. (It would have been nice to leave an hour or 2 earlier to not be there in the hottest part of the day, but atleast it wasn’t a whole day trip.) The hike to one of the waterfalls includes lots of stairs, so wear good shoes and a sun hat. NO SUNSCREEN IN THE POOLS. We didn’t see that sign til after we left and felt bad because my boyfriend had some on.. The pools are cool and soooo refreshing. And there is plenty of food to buy up there, including lots of fresh fruits, coconuts, tacos, memelitas, etc.

I was expecting more - As a solo traveler I don’t recommend it. Don’t get me wrong, the place is beautiful, however, the style of the “tour” is more like take you there and leave you on your own. Not even introducing the other people in the group. To be honest, it would be best to just book transportation as I don see the use of a guide since we didnt get any guide from him 😅
