Excellent day trip to Hierve de agua and mezcal tasting - great tour companion - Excellent trip to Hierve al agua. Enjoyed visiting the bakery and the fabulous hike around the falls, swim was so refreshing and buying lunch there was great. Also enjoyed learning about making mezcal and they were very generous with the tastings. It was plenty to do in one day. Love tours by this company.

Don’t miss this if you’re in Oaxaca! - Fanny was our guide and she was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and had great energy. We got to quickly visit a panadería with delicious food, spend plenty of time at hierve el agua, and then had an informative and fun mezcal tour and tasting. One of our favorite parts of our trip! Thanks, Fanny!

The best day! - We had the best time with Margerita and Pinky! They were easily able to adapt to the bloqueos and still managed to do everything on the Hierve el agua tour. We had plenty of time at Hierve el Agua, the bakery and the Mezcal tasting. I would highly recommend booking with Oaxaca by Locals so you get the most authentic experience and support the locals that know the most about the area.

Amazing day at Hierve el Agua - We had the best time with Margarita and Pinky. The meetup location was easy to find and they even sell coffees and snacks. I loved how organized and prompt everything was. Our tour guide Margarita was full of sweet energy, her and the driver Pinky, taught us a lot about Oaxaca and Mezcal. We stopped at a bakery on the way to Hierve el Agua and sampled some of the most amazing authentic sweet Oaxacan bread. The drive to Hierve el Agua was smooth and Margarita put on a fun playlist for us to listen to. Once we got to location, we were off on our own to explore for about 3 hours. There are tour guides there to hire if you want to hike but every one is local. Make sure you bring change with you for the bathrooms. The water was freezing but the views of Oaxaca were breathtaking. There is plenty of time to hike, explore, bath, drink, and eat. Also, the dogs at the location are the sweetest in the whole world. The drive to the distillery took about 40 minutes but it was so worth it! You get to sample so much Mezcal and the prices are unbeatable. My friend and I even tried worms for the first time. I highly recommend this excursion!

Rigorous hike with a treat at the end. - The hike was more physically demanding than expected. A few of us had issues with the altitude but we all enjoyed the scenery and especially the water pools at the end. We wished we would have had more time at the pools and would have skipped the distillery tour for more time at the Hierve el Agua. Our guide was amazing. She was knowledgeable and fun to be around. I highly recommend this tour!

A fun filled day with lots to do! - Our tour guide Veronica had great energy and was very friendly. We enjoyed the bread tasting at the start of the day and the petrified waterfalls were amazing to look at! We dipped our feet in the natural pools to cool down and then had lunch at Comedor Diana, recommended by Veronica. The Mezcal tasting was very interesting and we bought a few souvenirs!
