San Pedro y San Pablo Ayutla - We begin our tour in Ayutla, where we will visit the Maatsy or “Machucado”. This traditional dish made from corn is shared ritually. The farmer and cook Regina will tell us the mystical stories surrounding this preparation.
Municipio de Santa María Tlahuitoltepec Mixe Oaxaca - In the town of Rey Condoy - Tlahuitoltepec -, we will tour the communal market, visit artisans’ workshops where we will be able to witness a demonstration of their impressive work. In addition, we will have a live and conscious eating experience with an inspiring family, who fights for healthy lives through their cuisine.
Totontepec Villa de Morelos - In the lush mountains of Totontepec, we spent the night in a cozy family hotel. In the evening, there will be time to connect, reflect and rest.
