Well organised and knowledgeable - We were picked up from our hotel in the morning and taken on a mini bus to Monte Albán. We were there at a good time so that it was not crazy busy or too hot. There were about 20 of us in the group.
Miguel ran a fantastic tour - he was very knowledgeable and articulated the history and tour really well, so that it was easy to follow and interesting. We had 2 hours with Miguel and then an hour of free time to walk the rest of the site and check out the gift shop, museum and snack bar etc. I’d say that timing was perfect.
The company was really organised and well run - easy to get entry tickets and drop off at the end of the day was very flexible. I would recommend this tour if you would like to visit Monte Alban.

Excellent tour - Really excellent tour with stunning views. Miguel is clearly really interested in his subject and that shows in his tour. I enjoyed that explained where things were controversial between historians and why he thought what he did.

Great experience, really interesting history - We really enjoyed this tour! Miguel, our guide was very very knowledgeable and gave us a 2 hour tour. After that you are welcome to spend longer at the site (the company provides hourly shuttles back to the Oaxaca centre).

Monte Alban is Magical - Miguel’s historical overview was so well done. He communicates the story of the Zapotec people and their relationship to others past and present so well. He made the tour special. Monte Alban itself is breathtaking and proves that Oaxaca has been a magical place for a long time.

The heights of Monte Alban - A very informative and flexible tour. If you want to spend longer after the guided visit you can. Our guide, Miguel, was very informative and well able to explain further. But he was also attentive to those in our group who needed support.
Highly recommended for this and other tours in the area.
