Tour Monte Alban “classico” - Our guide Luis was great! He picked us up at our hotel at 9 am and drove us the entire day. He is so knowledgeable. He gave us a 1 hr tour of Monte Alban and then we had 1 hr free time to look around for ourselves. It is a great site. Next we went to a mescal making demo and tasting. Then to the town where they make the whimsical brightly painted carved animals called alebrije. Luis showed us how they are made. Then we had an opportunity to buy and next, onto a delicious lunch at a very out-of-the-way restaurant- great buffet - all for 20 pesos. Then to the Black pottery exhibition and showroom. Again Luis demonstrated his knowledge about the process. Finally he dropped each of us off at 5pm. What a day! And so reasonable!

Full day tour with a fantastic guide! - Luis is a great guide and provided a lot of background information on everything. Personal pickup & dropoff and a full day of touring for a good price. We visited Monte Alban, a Mezcaleria, an Alebrije and Pottery workshop. Local lunch buffet was good and plentiful! Thanks again, good value.

Awesome day! - What a fantastic day! Communication was good from start to finish. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Our guide was great, jumping back and forth between English and Spanish so I had a full day Spanish intensive in addition to seeing and learning about Monte Alban, craft centers, a traditional mezcal distillery, and a small chocolate factory. We also enjoyed what was by FAR the most delicious and varied feast we've had in Mexico. Our tour group was small and included people from several countries. All for under $50 U.S. per person. Amazing!

Educational and insightful tour - Great experience with Luis, our guide, in Mt. Albán. It is a very interesting archeological site to visit due to the size and importance and Luis explained everyting clearly. Do not miss a visit to the Oaxaca Cultural museum where you find the treasures archelogist found in Mt Alban. Visits to the mezcal and the ceramic factory were also great. Bring a lot of water and sunscreen and be prepared to climb a lot of stairs

Visits to all points but could improve - They passed punctual, we visited all the places of the description but did not give much detail in Monte Alban, we had to hire a guide on the site to be able to know more. Super uncomfortable van, very friendly guide and driver

Mezcal should be after lunch - The monthly should put it up after lunch. How do they take us to taste alcol on an empty stomach? And the time on the mountain should be 30-1hr longer.
