COYOTE ROCKS - Coyote Adventures is the best way to do MTB in Oaxaca, he has an amazing and talented team that adapts to all levels. We have been doing this same trip for the last 10 years and Coyote is by far the best option. Combining his MTB skills with his passion for people and nature makes an amazing experience. Make sure to ride 204 along with his team… the best single trail I have ever done!

Great mountain biking trip! - We had an excellent experience riding in Oaxaca with Carlos, Tarek and the rest of their team. The trails there are incredible. It’s amazing riding through so many different environments in one descent: from cloud forests with loamy PNW hero dirt, to techy desert trails with fun rock features. Some of the descents are up to 45min long! The guides were very knowledgeable and cared a lot about us having a great time. They were really helpful pointing out features, how to ride them, what to look out for, etc. They also tailored the trails well to the group. I also loved learning about the local community and Oaxacan culture as Carlos was very knowledgeable and passionate about this. We had a blast and will definitely be back to ride with our new friends at Coyote Adventuras!

Must Do Activity if Visiting Oaxaca - This was a 10/10 trip and well worth the money. I came to Oaxaca having no idea that mountain biking was even an option and thankfully came across these guys (have an incredible reputation in town). Given my lack of preparedness, they went above and beyond in providing me everything I needed (protective gear, gloves, etc.). The trip started out by traveling about 45 min - 1 hr from town to a breakfast spot in the middle of nowhere in the mountains. It was a super authentic experience, we had hot chocolate and breakfast tacos to warm up and start the day. Next, we ascended up the mountain, to begin the biking. The trails were unreal, absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. There was so much variety and my guide did a great job of guiding me through any sketchy areas and pointing me towards the must-hit features to make sure I didn't miss anything. The whole process ran super tight, our driver was always at the bottom of each trail ready for us when we ended. The team provided snacks, electrolyte drinks, and water. Another great thing to note is that the guide totally picked up on my level of riding (intermediate) and rode to that level and chose our trails / lines based on that. I never felt super overwhelmed by some insane route that was way out of my league and on the other hand definitely never felt bored by something too easy. After a great day of biking, we had lunch at another super homey restaurant in the mountains. Honestly might have been the best meal I've had in Oaxaca thus far (like 3 courses) and like breakfast was just included in the initial cost. We then drove back to Oaxaca after a great meal and got back around 5 PM. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone and everyone that enjoys the outdoors. The value here is well worth the cost. Easily our favorite days in Oaxaca!!! Adventure, culture, all smiles and new friends. - Such a fun day in the mountains with a stellar crew. We couldn't agree more with the other reviews when we have nothing but good things to say about Coyote. They are all incredibly passionate about what they do and very knowledgable and respectful towards the culture, communities and environments they are living and guiding within. They showed us the wide range of diverse and ridiculously fun trails in Ixtepeji, and the stoke was high throughout the two days we rode with them. The dry, rocky trails were very different than our PNW riding, which took me a minute to get used to and the crew was super supportive and encouraging. Fresh mangos, ice cold energy drinks and delish trail mix provided between rides was clutch on the hot days. Carlos and the rest of the team had fantastic communication. We can't wait to bring more friends down to ride with Coyote! Food was excellent. Also, definitely sign up for the Street Art Bike Tour as well! I did this as well and it opened my eyes to the depth of the culture, history and current fight for civil rights in Oaxaca. There is an incredibly important truth about this region that these artists are sharing which Coyote's tour revealed This tour also introduced me to my favorite neighborhoods in the city. I would highly recommend this tour to ANYONE who visits this city and cares to have insight about the place they are visiting.

Best Trip Of My Life! - Nothing but good things to say about Coyote. They gave me and my buddies the trip of a lifetime. All the guides are personable, professional and were a pleasure to get to know. The riding, food and cultural experiences were all unforgettable and I have Coyote to thank for that. You guys rock! Great day of MTB in Oaxaca - I would recommend Coyote Aventuras to anyone. Fernando, Carlos, and the rest of the team were great. Fernando was easy to communicate with before the excursion, and incredibly accommodating to our skill levels, as my partner and I are relatively new to MTB. The whole team was helpful and encouraging throughout the day. The trails were fun, the scenery amazing, and the food provided was authentic and delicious. I plan to do a trip with them again if I make it back to Oaxaca soon.
