Great tour if you want to cover a lot on one day. - Angel was a wonderful guide. We had a great trip! Tour is quite long but great option for someone who wants to cover many sights on one day. Herve del aqua is beautiful and it was interesting to see the mezcal distilling process too.

A piece of Heaven called Oaxaca - This is a great tour if you have limited time in Oaxaca, this day trip will give you the experience of true Oaxacan culture, my favorite was driving through the sierra madre mountains to see Hierve el agua (boil water) the amazing petrified waterfall, the view is amazing! The lunch buffet was great, got to taste a little bit of many traditional foods. Textile making was super interesting, talk about sustainability and using everything that nature gives you to create this amazing Art! And of course, Mezcal, Oaxaca water! Mezcal tasting in the palenque was amazing! Our guide was super nice and friendly and explain everything step by step. Our Oaxacan native guide spoke perfect English, I was blown away! I 100% recommend this trip.

I highly recommend this trip - I took the all-day tour that included the giant tree in Santa Maria Tule, the hand-dyed and hand-woven rug factory in Teotitlán, Hierve de Agua, the ruins in Mitla, and a mezcal factory in Tlacolula. Moses was our guide, and he was excellent. He had a lot of energy and had lots to say about every place we visited. He made the trip very interesting. I was blown away be the processes involved in making the rugs. From how the sheep’s wool is turned into yarn, to how it is dyed, and then woven – all was very interesting and impressive. Hieve de Agua was unique. I walked down to the third viewpoint and was impressed with this amazing, gigantic statue created by nature. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch had lots of different choices and everything I ate was delicious. The mezcal factory was a fun finale to the day. One word of advice – Bring a snack to eat along the way. We didn’t eat lunch until 3:30pm.

Your guide and the driver were knowledgeable - Very good day trip from Oaxaca. They picked us up right from our doorstep but upon returning, they dropped us 15 minutes walk away.

An excellent tour - I highly recommend it. - Amado was an excellent driver, was highly competent and honest. It was a great tour - everything advertised was included with a perfect amount of time allocated to each stop on the tour. It was a long day - 12 or 13 hours - and it was worth every minute. I definitely recommend this tour.

Save your money! totally not worth it. - I rarely leave a bad review but this one is warranted and I would hate for you to waste your money. The minibus driver is essentially the tour guide. However someone did meet us briefly at Tule Tree, Teotitlan del Valle and Mitla. who spoken very broken English. And unfortunately for me, the driving did not speak a word of English so half the time I had no clue where i was, what the next stop was or what was happening. This was frustrating as I did select that I wanted the english tour guide. AT Teotitlan del Valle the presenter/ weaver explained the whole process in her native tongue, however when it came to trying to sell the rugs she was able to speak english fluently At Hierve el Agua the minibus driver just dropped us at the car park, and we had to find our own way to the spring. Thankfully there was other tourists that could point me in the direction of where the spring was. There was of course people charging to guide you to the springs. PLEASE DO NOT PAY FOR THIS. Once you find the paved path it is just a 15min walk down hill The Buffet is the worst lukewarm poorest representation of Mexican cuisine ever and not worth it. The mezcal tasting experience was also tragic. When we got there we were just walked around the small n courtyard and given the option to sample 4 mezcals. To finish we was taken to a bakery ... why i do not know. This was random as it was not on the description. we was given a talk about the bread (in spanish) by giggling boys and of course was encouraged to the buy baked goods At every point of this tour, we either had to PAY EXTRA to access the sites or was expected to make a purchase. The sites are incredible and worth seeing, but considering you still have to provide your own entrance fee and the lack of guidance, I would plan your own excursion!
