Awesome Mezcal Tour - Highly recommend this Mescal Journey. Our guide, Leyte, was great - both knowledgeable and fun. Kudos to our driver, Clara, for driving us around safely and helping out when needed. If you want to learn about the whole mezcal process and sample numerous types, this is the tour for you.

Ilegal Mezcal Tour - Leyla made it fun and was very informative. The group was small enough to feel feel like a group of old friends and share stories. My husband and I felt welcomed.

MEZCAL Magic - Great experience to learn about this drink that is having its moment. They take you through the entire process from the types of plants harvested, with a visit to the plantation to the processing of the harvested plants all the way through bottling. You'll learn all the history behind how Shamans were originally the ones that made Mezcal - and how young they really were. The different classes of Mezcal so you know what you like and what to order next time and you'll sample the more pricey mezcals that may be rarer too. The food at the end was a great surprise and a highlight as well! The team put together a great afternoon and have an awesome vibe! The right balance of information and drinking to help it all go down better! Highly recommend it! I went as a solo traveller and met amazing people on the trip and it's easy to make friends with great guides and awesome vibes!

Super. - The experiance was amazing! The level of english of both guides was perfect and they are super friendly. It is really there goal to let you have a great day. They show you the entire process and explain a lot. You can ask any question and they have the answer. As they recommend, take a heavy breakfast because the tasting is a lot, but super nice. Also the lunch was perfect. At the end a super experiance!!

Amazing experience! - The reviews don’t lie! Alfredo and the experience he offers are truly unique and magical! His warm personality, easy ability to connect with others, and generous sharing of vast cultural knowledge alone made this experience unforgettable. Learning about and enjoying the agave fields and mezcal process was a cherry on top. Lunch in Mitla was phenomenal, too! So enriching and so much fun. I had never booked a tour before, and I’m so glad I did. I had a blast and came away with so much more awareness of Oaxaca, precolonial history, local culture, and, of course, mezcal!
