Fantastic experience for cacao lovers - Absolutely loved my Cacao experience with Chima Cacao. Azomalli (I hope that was her name!) was a wonderful host and spent so much time answering all of my questions and preparing the dishes. I could tell how passionate she was about cacao and the traditional processes, and I walked out with a new found appreciation for proper cacao done right. Also loved the cacao toast and dessert at the end of the tasting. Thank you! ❤️

A great choice for the Oaxacan chocolate experience!! - Our family group of 5 made up the total tour, which meant it was our own personal experience in this delightful space. Our guide, Evia, was excellent - personable, fun and full of information! We learned the history and processes related to chocolate, tasting each variety. This was followed by a lovely surprise snack of fermented bread topped with a delicious combination of several flavors. The final treat was cream in a bit of coffee...all in all, a memorable and fun way to spend the afternoon!!

Great, Informative & Delicious - This is one of the best experiences I have had on a trip ever. The cocoa / chocolate class and tasting were both incredibly informative and delicious. The instructor, Elvia, was friendly and clearly explained the different types of cocoa beans and methods of fermentation and refining. The experience was enhanced by the quaint and beautiful space in which it was held, and the small group size, which made it very intimate and personalised. My tastes have now improved forever.

Must Do For Chocolate Lovers - The Cocoa Chocolate Experience was amazing. We were educated on the different varieties of Cocoa, traditional vs commercial processes, its sustainable growth and some of the history. We learned why some chocolates are bitter and why some are more sweet. We even got to taste varieties of different hot chocolate including a special chocolate desert at the end. Would definitely recommend!
