Food and culture tour you don’t want to miss! - We absolutely loved our food tour with Betsy! We thought we were going on this tour simply to taste the foods from the area, but ended up leaving with so much information about all aspects of life in Oaxaca. Betsy has a a fun, outgoing personality, and you can tell she wants you to walk away from the tour with a better understanding of the culture. She teaches you how to navigate the markets, ways to know you’re buying locally made products, points out interesting and important landmarks in the town, connects you with many women owned and run businesses, and feeds you the most delicious food the entire time. Our bellies and hearts were full. Our only regret is not taking this tour the first day of our trip!

An authentic taste of Oaxaca with the best guide! - Betsy was such an amazing guide giving us the most helpful information about navigating markets and collectives! All of the food we tried was amazing and it was so beautiful to be able to try food from her family’s place. I would highly recommend Betsy, as her tour was so informative and unique and we were really taken care of.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE - We had an amazing time on this tour. We had the chance to visit several markets and order so many dishes. All of the food was absolutely incredible and we were able to learn so much about both Oaxacan history and Oaxacan food. This was the best part of our trip and I’d highly recommend it to everyone!!

Terrific experience - varied, tasty, and surprising food - Betsy was fabulous. I’ve been to Mexico and other Latin American countries before, I’ve had mole before, but so many of these dishes were completely new to me - and mostly the food was not anything we would have stumbled across on our own at the restaurants in Oaxaca. Everything was tasty. The whole experience was wonderful.

Betsy led a wonderful... - Betsy led a wonderful tour with some absolutely delicious food. Most of it was better than any I've had in Oaxaca restaurants. She also gave great advice in general about being a tourist in Oaxaca and food safety.

I got to know real Oaxacan food - If you want to know the real food of Oaxaca you have to do this activity, Betsy is the most passionate and knowledgeable about Oaxacan gastronomy, she also supports local women's businesses, this is a great experience that you have to do if you visit Oaxaca. I suggest you just have a coffee before starting the tour because there are a lot of delicious foods to try
