A Great way to spend an interesting , fun and delicious day. - Sue created a fun and informative event. The dishes she selected were all delicious and her explanations of the history of the dishes enhanced the experience. All in all, it was a great way to spend a day and my husband and I highly recommend it.

Don't leave Oaxaca without making some mole with Su! - Su & Lis! Two of my favorite people in Oaxaca! I didn't have time to book early, so I was very grateful when this was available during my short trip to Oaxaca. The meet & transportation were smooth. Upon arrival, greeted with open arms. The class was fun, lively, informative, and very engaging! Hands on, great pace, and so delicious! The outdoor kitchen space is amazing, I'd love to have a space like that to entertain and cook outside at home!;) Memelas & moles, they made it seem so simple. Even as a chef, I left feeling so much more comfortable with my newfound love & knowledge of Oaxacan cuisine. Thank you ladies! Look forward to seeing you again someday! Cheers, Reino

Perfect experience if you want to experience cooking authentic cuisine. - Sue and Lis ran an incredible experience. There were ten guests in our class and we still got personalized attention. We made a traditional chocolate drink, salsa, tortillas, mole, and a desert. We were picked up in front of Santa Domingo and driven to Sue’s home in an air conditioned car. The outdoor kitchen was clean, cool and well stocked. We were immediately made to feel comfortable. The experience was paced perfectly with a deep history of Oaxacan food culture taught to us while preparing. They perfectly engaged all ten guests. We arrived strangers and left with new friends. I highly recommend this experience for their knowledge, technique, taste and their patience.

Traditional Oaxacan Cooking Class - What an excellent class. Our interpreter, was so knowledgable and informative about Mixtec (indigenous people from the Mixteca region) and spoke English very well. Our cook, Sue(?) was very patient and organized in teaching us the various steps in making a full course dinner using the traditional wood fired oven and clay stove top which included:It was a very full 4hours plus of immersion in this fabulous, rich cuisine. I highly recommend it. traditional hot chocolate, salsa, tortillas, and Mole Calorido. We learned about different moles both fresh and those that can be kept in advance. They served us a fresh orange juice cocktail spiced with a bit of mezcal for those who wihed and served us beers to drink along side the food we made. It wa

Experience that exceeds my expectations. - I went on 12/9, very good experience, we learned a lot, Su (the teacher) is very well prepared, he is a doctor is good in case something happens, we ate very healthy, fat free, all natural, with vegetables, natural products typical food of Oaxaca-Mexico. Her husband Jorge is in charge of transport to the kitchen, they make a good team. She has been communicating with you for days in case you have to explain that you are interested in cooking, that you are coeliac, etc.
