Experience that exceeds my expectations. - I went on 12/9, very good experience, we learned a lot, Su (the teacher) is very well prepared, he is a doctor is good in case something happens, we ate very healthy, fat free, all natural, with vegetables, natural products typical food of Oaxaca-Mexico. Her husband Jorge is in charge of transport to the kitchen, they make a good team. She has been communicating with you for days in case you have to explain that you are interested in cooking, that you are coeliac, etc.

Delish food and great atmosphere - Su, the host, made us feel at home and the food we prepared was absolutely delicious. The drive to her house is really short and though it is a lengthy experience, the time flew by. It was a very nice experience to taste authentic Oaxacan food. I would do this activity all over again.

Solo Adventure - Such a great experience for my first solo trip. Our hosts were so welcoming and knowledgeable of the history and traditions to each item we prepared. I learned how to make my first Morita chili sauce and I have to say I’ll be making it again when I return home. We all came in as strangers and all left as friends. These types of events are such much fun because you meet so many people from all walks of lives trying to learn something new. Thank you to our wonderful hosts for sharing such wonderful recipes and their kitchen.

A very fun and informative cooking class - We loved this cooking class!! Su was very knowledgeable and patient with all of us. We started by making authentic Oaxacan chocolate and drank it with bread. It was very good! We made food from scratch and it was very delicious! Making tortillas with the masa and Memelitas was so fun and so yummy! Their daughter made a cocktail with Mezcal and Jamaica and it was excellent. We helped make yellow mole with chicken and it was so good! We truly loved the experience. Jorge her husband was very nice to pick us up from downtown. I highly recommend this class.

Best cooking class in Oaxaca. - One of the top things to do in Oaxaca is learn to cook local dishes. Susana was an amazing teacher. She's from Oaxaca so she is familiar with all the local ingredients. Her class was so much fun. She was informative on all ingredients and steps to every receipe. The dishes we made were so tasty. Getting hands on to make our meal made me appreciate the local dishes we were eating while in Oaxaca. Her outdoor kitchen was beautiful and very accomadating. I highly recommend taking a cooking class at Gueta.
