The highlight of my 10 days in Oaxaca! - What a special day with Chef Adhey and her husband Enrique! I've taken many cooking classes over the years and this was hands down the best one. Not only was the food we made incredible with lots of hands on instruction, but the whole experience was spectacular. Their home is gorgeous with a rooftop kitchen and traditional stove. We felt like we were welcomed into the family with great stories and lots of laughs. I cannot recommend this enough. Whether you love good food or just want to enjoy a fantastic afternoon learning about Mexican cooking and culture, you should do this!

Highlight of my trip! - This was definitely a highlight of my trip. Straight off a Red Eye to Chef Adhey and her husband Enrique’s home where we learned to cook some of her Aubuela’s traditional family recipes. The class took place on their beautiful terrace in their traditional Oaxaqueña outdoor kitchen called a brasero (wood burning stove). It was a very hands on cooking class and the food came out absolutely amazing. Aside from that the family was welcoming, the drinks were flowing, and the overall energy was just good. Highly, highly recommend!

Don’t miss this cooking experience! - We had a lot of fun an Adhey’s dinner party! We were picked up at the meeting spot and driven to her house. She taught us about Oaxacan fruits, gave us hot chocolate to start, and her husband Quique kept the drinks flowing! The food was delicious and we all got a chance to try our hand at the Oaxacan way of cooking. We made a couple different salsas, chile rellenos, guacamole, and memelas. I would book again because Adhey and Quique throw a great party in their beautiful terrace. It was so lovely to meet them and we had a memorable night in Oaxaca!

Delicious food cooked in a family-like atmosphere - Adhey and Enrique are such a great couple. They welcomed us at their home as we were a family. We cooked on their roof terrace with nice view over the city and got a lot of information about traditions and local food. We cooked chille rellenos with three different salsas and baked beans. All of it was super delicious. We joked with the chef and her husband all the time which gave the whole experience very nice atmosphere. We finished with our bellies full and smiles on our faces.
