Our greeting ritual, just like the one my grandmother used to share with me, begins with hot chocolate and bread. I’m excited to share my experiences and the traditions of my heritage with you. Our interactive session will happen in our splendid outdoor kitchen situated on our patio. You’ll gain practical experience in cooking and preparing food in the traditional Oaxaqueña kitchen commonly known as a ‘brasero’ - a traditional stove with an open fire, made from bricks.
You will actively participate in our cooking experience, learning how to concoct starters, traditional beverages, salsas, and main courses.
At the end of our session, we will sit together and enjoy the fruit of our labor - a shared meal around the table filled with food, drinks, stories, laughter, affection, and of course, mezcal.
We eagerly await to create lasting connections with you over our mutual passion for food and flavor which is one of the most enduring traditions of my culture.
