Highly Recommended Tour - Our whole group really enjoyed our tour! Getting to sample the local flavors at a bakery and Mezcal distillery was fun and a cool way to connect to the gracious community. I couldn’t recommend our guide, Salvador enough; he answered all of our questions and was a fun conduit for trying mezcal. We felt that we were in safe hands with our driver, Alvarado as well.

Must do if you’re in the city of Oaxaca! - Santiago and Álvaro were great! Santiago is very knowledgeable about the area and our trip to hierve el agua was so great and memorable. The mezcalería distillery was a wonderful learning experience and the mezcal was top notch. We got to learn a lot and see quite a bit in just 8 hours. A must do for anyone coming to Oaxaca.

Relaxing and Beautiful Day Trip! - Karen made the whole trip relaxing, enjoyable, and informative. It was great to travel in a small group instead of a tour van. The time line of this trip was good too. The stop on the way to learn about and taste bread in Tlacolula broke up the trip well. Hierve el Aquas is beautiful so I appreciated having 3 hours there which was plenty of time to hike, swim, and eat. The Mezcal tour on the return trip was interesting especially because we got to see the different types of agave growing in the fields. The itinerary was well planned and I was grateful to return to El Centro before 5pm. Overall it was a very Oaxacool Trip!

Karen was amazing! - Karen was an amazing guide - from sharing a cafe de hoya in the morning, all through the tour. The time was sufficient to do a short hike, and jump in the water if you wanted to. The mezcal tasting was perfect!

A great fun tour with swimming and mezcal - This was such a great day. The weather cooperated and Hierve del Agua was gorgeous. The mezcal tour was really fun. It was great to be in a small group and Adriel the tour guide was fantastic. He shared so much about the region and people and history. (The drive whose name I forgot was also a super nice person.). Definitely a highlight and recommend if you visit Oaxaca.

. - The trip was a good length, we were a small group of 4 which was nice, maybe didn't need 3 hours at hierve el agua but no complaints.

Disappointing - This "tour" was really just transport to and from Hierve el Agua. I expected our guide to accompany us to through the site and share relevant information while there. That was not the case. We were dropped off at the entrance and instructed to meet back there within a couple of hours. After our time at Hierve el Agua we made our way to the mezcal distillery which was a huge disappointment. Their partner at the distillery was not available so we didn't get to learn about the mezcal-making process. After a quick walk through the facilities we got to try a few of their mezcal offerings.
