The historical narrative was both informative as well as entertaining. Fascinating background. And the tour was magical. Never felt rushed, got to meet many horses and learned alot about breeding program. Do think it would be great to have carrots to purchase to feed them. Just have a liability waiver if concerned about someone not familiar with giving food to a horse. You are doing a wonderful job! Bravo.

We loved and learned about Gypsy Vanner Horses and Mr. Dennis passion and respect to the Gypsies’ culture. It was an unforgettable day and experience. We highly recommend it!

Erin and Dennis spent a lot of time describing all that they know and everything that they learned throughout their loving relationship with Gypsy Vanner horses. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time at their farm. They clearly care for all the animals, as if they were members of their family.

I enjoyed the lecture very much. It was so interesting to learn all the history of the Gypsy Vanner breed. The walking tour was very nice. The horses were beautiful but I wish I could have seen some of them groomed like for a show. I would highly recommend this tour.

We visited Gypsy Gold last weekend for a birthday celebration, after wanting to visit for over 2 years! From the moment we reserved our tickets to the moment we got in our car to leave the farm, we felt welcomed like family. Reserving our tour ahead of time was easy on the website. I called ahead to ask if my pup could come on the tour with us. Erin returned my call quickly and was very warm and welcoming on the phone. On the day of our tour, we hit terrible traffic on the way up from Orlando. We called ahead to let them know, worried about missing the tour, but Erin again immediately put us at ease, telling us not to worry about our arrival time. She personally greeted us upon our arrival and let us know where we could freshen up or make ourselves a cup of coffee upon our arrival. When we arrived, we joined the rest of the group and Dennis was in the middle of sharing the incredible history of Vanner horses and Gypsy Gold. Then, he led us on a walking tour to meet several of the animals on the farm, sharing a bit about each one’s history along the way. We appreciated how knowledgeable Dennis and Erin are, and how much time they spent with each tour participant, making themselves available to answer all of our questions. The farm is sprawling and beautiful, and our whole family enjoyed the peace and relaxation of being outside and meeting all of the animals at Gypsy Gold. We were also delighted to be joined by Patience the mini donkey on our walking tour of the farm. The website mentioned that we could bring carrots to feed the horses, which we did and that was a really fun part of the experience. We left feeling happy and refreshed, and have been talking about our visit ever since and can’t wait for our next trip to Gypsy Gold. Thanks, Erin and Dennis!

It was our first time visiting and brought friends visiting here from Atlanta. The lecture was awesome - funny - interesting - informative - friendly. The tour was even better because we had the golf cart to ride in; but would have been fine without it. Short walking distance. A bit uneven, so for one of our party, the golf cart was a nice add! Will be back.

Enjoyed the history talk by Dennis Thompson. What a life he has led~ He needs to write a book! Enjoyed walking around the property and seeing all the animals. The horses are beautiful and so friendly!
