Just the right combination of horses, history and humor. - What beautiful horses! The Gypsy Vanner’s history is fascinating and Dennis does a great job of making it interesting and humorous. Stopped here while visiting my son and his wife and I will be back with friends. I’d recommend the tour to anyone passing through the area.

Educational and fun - We visited the Gypsy Gold Farm while on a short visit to Orlando. It was a hour and fifteen minute drive for us so very doable from Orlando. We enjoyed meeting Dennis the owner and hearing the history of how Gypsy Gold Farm came to be. Dennis is a great storyteller with much humor and detail. After Dennis’ talk we took a guided walking tour of the farm meeting many of the horses. They are very beautiful and friendly. I wish I had thought to bring carrots. We also got to meet the Donkeys and the birds on the farm. It was a very enjoyable time. I highly recommend taking the time to visit and learn about these beautiful majestic horses.

it was a historical event - It was a informative. The stories were excellent. Alot of history. The farm is huge and we got to touch and take picture with the horses I was hoping to get to ride one but that did not happen I would say for people wo do not know much about horses this would be a great start

Really nice way to spend a few hours - I love a great story, how the breed came to US given by a great story teller, Dennis. We really enjoyed our time there and feeding the horses carrots (large ones, be sure and bring some with you.). Beautiful and gentle horses. Everyone there loves what they do. They also have donkeys and parrots. Don’t forget to ask Dennis about his plans for the donkeys which have been named for characteristics we should encourage more.

Don’t forget your carrots! - We really enjoyed our time at the farm today. The horses are very friendly and gorgeous. The story of how they came to be in America was full of twists and turns. It’s obvious everyone there cares very much for the animals that call it home. Dennis is a very good communicator who cares not only about the horses but about having a world that would be willing to look at each other through each other’s eyes. The love of horses and the donkeys and the parrots is one of those things that can bring us together. There are many characters in the story and all of them have had an impact on Dennis. I think he wishes those kind of relationships for us all. Our walking tour guide was very sweet and knowledgeable about the animals and making her contribution to help the farm operate efficiently and effectively. We met several volunteers who you could tell loved being there and caring for the animals and their environment. Enjoy your time there. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. *And don’t forget your carrots 🥕I wish I had taken more. 😜

Definitely put this on your to do list. - We went to the lecture and tour to the Gypsy Gold Farm in Ocala. The horses, donkeys and parrots are beautiful, as well as the farm. Dennis did the lecture for the first hour which was very informative. Dennis was witty, a great speaker and passionate about his horses and endeavors. Taylor took us on the farm tour for the second hour. She was so kind and knowledgeable about all the horses and donkeys . It was evident she enjoyed her job. We were able to pet and feed all the horses and the donkeys. I would recommend this tour to everyone. Don’t forget your carrots!
