My e bike battery ran out within 18 miles and had to pedal back 4 miles to return the bike. My friends who I rode with had 3-5 bars left on their battery, and pretty much stayed on the same power level. Their attitude was blame to the rider using too much power. Anyway, in returning the bike they showed no apologetic gestures, offered no compensation. We asked for 1/2 day refund, which we got, but the attitude was that this was typical. The loss in power affected the 3 others who were riding with me because they all wanted to stay with me who was manually pedaling. It was the attitude that was the turn off.
