The waterfalls flow into the Caribbean Sea at the western edge of a picturesque white-sand beach. Climbing the falls is a favored activity among tourists, often done with the assistance of park tour guides. The climb typically takes about 1 to 1.5 hours, including short breaks for photos and videos taken by the guides. For those who prefer to stay dry or find the rocky, uneven terrain challenging, there are stairs alongside the falls.
