Great guide makes for a great visit! - Our driver Kevin brought us from Couples Tower Isle to the Blue Hole.
He hooked us up with TK, who guided me and my wife on a private tour. He took care of our belongings, always had a hand out to help us and also video’d almost all of our excursion. Most importantly he captured all of our jumps into the water. A cruise ship was in port but he navigated us to the front of the lines which was awesome. A Really nice guy! Highly recommend him!
Thanks TK

must visit - This was one of the top spots that we visited while in Jamaica. Absolutely breathtaking views and experience. Totally worth it. The staff that took us on our tour- Wellington and Krish were phenomenal. They even held onto one of our phones the entire time so that we could enjoy the jumps and take our own photos. They were very helpful in guiding us across the water and making sure we were safe. Would absolutely recommend .

Had a blast!!! - I had a great time at Blue Hole! I got there around 10:30 I would say and there was only a family of four there so it was super quiet. I was expecting it to be quite busy but it wasn’t at all! My guide took a million pictures of me which was awesome as I travelled solo to Jamaica. He had a good sense of humour and was awesome and fun! Thanks Wellington!!!!

The Best Excursion! - The Blue Hole was such a fun experience! CJ (Courtney) was a fantastic guide. He lead with so much humor and took great photos and videos of our group! Our group highly recommends and we look forward to our next visit.

A nice, refreshing time - Was a cool time. Went after being hung over but the water was refreshing and the activities were well worth it. Definitely try to book this if you can.

Private entrance w guide available!! - Amazing experience at this hidden gem! We arrived w a private driver (not a tour bus) and were greeted by a local guide who took us in thru the lower part of the river/waterfall. The young man provided expert care through the many slippery areas and encouraged us to enjoy picture moments and videos of our jumps. There are vendors throughout the trail (we skipped) so have cash on hand for souvenirs, beverages and tipping your guide. Water shoes are a must just to hold grip on the stones.
We left this amazing personalized experience and went to Dunn’s River Falls, which was a huge disappointment. Spend your time and money here at the Blue Hole!!

Great fun! Amazing guides! - Got private transportation here from Montego Bay ...a 1.5hr drive. Got there around 11am. Very few ppl around. Brought out own water shoes.
Paid admission at the front gate $100usd for 2 adults and 2 children. Life jackets were included.
You do not need to take anything, money, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, towels, leave it all in the car because theres no where to put it while u are climbing and jumping! I think there's lockers to rent.
Our guide Dawson was amazing. We did a small jump at the first falls incl a rope drop. Dawson was incredible and very safe, he took many pics with my phone!
Then we went on a short ~10kin walk to the larger section which includes many jumps, rope drops etc.
At this time, many ppl from others tours arrived so getting quite busy.
But all the guides work with each othere to ensure jumps are timed safely.
Dawson as amazing helping my children climb safely ans he took more pics and video using my phone.
We were done just under 2 hrs. And by then very hungry. There food and snacks for purchase.
Tipped the guide.
Loved the Blue Hole. More fun than Dunns river. But I can imagine lots of tours going there and being too crowded.

Very short - I booked an excursion to the Blue Hole. It was very fast as an experience we did not have time to see everything. Next time I'd take a taxi to have all my time to explore this beautiful place

Beautiful spot but pushy staff - We did a blue hole/dunns river combo tour.
The good: beautiful falls and lots of fun climbing and jumping into the holes.
The bad: we were advertised this as a casual swim with the option to jump if you wanted. We picked it as it allowed my mother something to participate in. With our guides the only option was to jump and we were instructed to hurry and get out to go to the next jump. I guess this was the fault of the selling company.
The guides however were rude and pushy. We tipped them and they said “that’s all?” And asked for more.

Would never recommend this place - We used a private person recommend by a friend to take my family and I to this place. We were charged $150 US for the trip including entrance fee which I am not sure what the cost was for all 3 of us. The driver as he came recommended by a friend. We paid him ful upon arrival to the blie hole. He introduced us to guy who gave a name "Kenny" The driver also told us that " Kenny" was the best. I thought the driver that he was acting in our best interest. Soon we were excorted to the first hole by the guide, Kenny. A man with a camera appeared and said he will be taking pictures of us. Kenny told me that he couldn't take pictures of us in the location using our phone because he didn't want to "step on the photographer's "foot". I didn't think much of it and we proceeded to have fun. After a few minutes, we were guided back to the photographer's laptop and he showed us some of the pictures he uploaded. He said he would charge us $60 US dollars My son, who wanted to get something for my birthday said he would pay for them. I thought $60 was a lot of money, but I hesitantly allowed my adult son to do his thing as he had been trying to get me something since we got to that island for my birthday, but I kept refusing his offer. The man asked for my son's email address and said he would send the pictures and we could pay him after the tour. After that we left to tour the other parts if the park with the guide. He took my son's camera and said he would take pictures of us. He actually did what he said he would at the end we were pleased with the quality of photos that came from my son's phone and the number of pictures the guide took.
Had I known he would take this many pictures, I would've made my son lock himself in the deal with this so called photographer, but the guide had told us that the photographer had already sent the pictures to his email which we couldn't verify at the moment since we had no internet nor wifi. My son paid the guide the $60 per his instructions and the guide said he would give the photographer the money as he was busy. The photographer was nowhere in sight. I also gave the guide $26 US extra for his services. He looked at me and kept ASKING FOR MORE MONEY! $26 US is way too much money for a tip, in addition to $60 for photos. I felt we were being held hostage for more money AS KENNY FOLLOWED US TO THE VEHICLE AND WEDGED THE CAR DOOR OPEN WITH HIS BODY . OUR DRIVER DIDN'T INTERVENE NOR TRIED TO PROTECT US.
In retrospect, I suspect that the $60 was not just for the photographer. I suspect it was a deal with all parties to split this money amongst themselves. In total, I paid this driver $150US plus $20 TIP, $60 for "photographic services" and $26 in tips to KENNY. This was way too much money and I realized we were made fools of. Typical Jamaican mentality. Everyone wants to swindle you out of your hard earned money. I was very disgusted, angry & disappointed.
I felt attacked by a swarm of vultures.
If I can help at least one person not to fall in this trap, I hope this review will. Here is my advice:
1) THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER PLACES IN THE WORLD SIMILAR TO BLUE HOLE
2) Book your tours with a reputable company through Expedia, TripAdvisor etc.
3) Don't use unknown company that is operated by a woman or man or both together at times with a white dark tinted 4 door vehicle, hatch back style.
3) Never buy these photos from these crooks . You can use your own phone or camera and take your own pictures.
4) Learn to say NO. Do not give away your hard earned money.
There is this myth in this island that if you come from the USA, you must have alot of money. I'm sick of these con artists and with their sick sense of entitlement.
This place feels like the wild wild west, ran by any lawless crook who step foot on the property.
It is shameful and disgraceful that this is a tourist attraction. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
