July 2024 Family Excursion Trip! 10/10 Yay JR + Deb - JR and Debbie were amazing tour host for the trip! They were well mannered and organized. Despite the rude guest that attended the tour with me and my family. They handled every situation with class and ease. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested! From the bus ride- Debbie gives all the facts of the island upon every turn The boat ride is lots of fun, we went snorkeling and enjoyed the beautiful views of the island The Dunn’s River Falls was an amazing experience, it was a bit of a hike but totally worth it. The boat ride back made it more fun, we had rum punch, music, and dancing. Absolutely 10/10 My only recommendation would be to guest traveling from other countries to be respectful to the island and the people that live here. Be mindful that you are a visitor! Deb and JR we’re so patient with everyone 10/10 again!!

Amazing adventure - Had an absolutely amazing experience with Debbie and JR. They were lively and informative. Even when other attendees were rude and disrespectful towards them, they remained calm and civil and professional. When I do this trip again, I would request them specifically!!! Amazing crew and great people. They made the adventure that much better and were very accommodating.

Great experience - JR and Debbie were amazing. They made the tour phenomenal with facts about Jamaica and kept the energy alive during the long bus ride. They were accommodating and patient overall. The actual excursion was enjoyable as well. Will definitely book again with them if in Jamaica!

Falls climbing 5 stars ... - Falls climbing 5 stars and snorkelling 3stars, great support from the staff and crew. Food not good (too hot, unconfortable, sándwiches would be better).

Amazing Day - We booked this excursion through Amstar whilst staying at our resort in Montego Bay. The travel time on the coach was approx. 3 hours (we were told it would be 2) as one guest overslept and the coach waited which we found frustrating. There was also a toilet break stop. On arrival to where your board the catamaran we had lunch which was jerk chicken, rice and peas along with soft drinks. Overall very good. There is also toilet facilities and a shop. After lunch we boarded the catamaran. Probably around 90 to 100 people on board though there was plenty of seating. Music playing and access to soft drinks only. After about 5 minutes - and within site of the departure point - we stopped for snorkelling. Masks, snorkel and fins were provided and of good quality. A small buoyancy aid had to be worn. If you enjoy snorkelling get in the water first otherwise you will not have much time. I was one of the first in and had plenty of time.....the reef is not teeming with fish but still managed to see a nice selection. I tend to snorkel away from groups when on these type of excursions and was lucky enough to see two squid swimming together and one sprayed ink at a larger fish approaching. Amazing. After the snorkel it was time to head to Dunns River Falls which took approximately 25 minutes. Dunns River - despite the amount of people - was very well organised. We were accompanied by a guide and a photographer. My wife had a waterproof case for her phone and there were some opportunities to take your own photos. It is 100% necessary to wear water shoes and still in some places it was very slippery so essential to follow the guidance of the guide in order to avoid injury. The whole climb takes about 1 hour. At the top is where you can pay for the photos. It is necessary to double check the email address they write down - as this is to where they will send the photo link - and provide an accurate description of what you are wearing so they can easily identify you from the photos taken. I think it cost USD 40 for about 8 photos and 1 video. I was worried from the reviews it was a scam but it isn't and well worth purchasing. Just make sure the email address is correct and they write a description of what you are wearing and you should be fine. It is not a scam. Toilet facilities are available and clean. When descending the Falls numerous people approach you to sell you stuff......just ignore them and you will be fine. It was not as bad as people make it out to be. On board the catamaran again, they then serve rum and a DJ plays music. Once at the "port" when you disembark you will be approached by more people selling shells and other items as well as weed/marijuana. Not my thing but plenty of people buying! The coach return trip of 3 hours back to Montego Bay is a bit painful. We stopped at a large gift shop where we bought some souvenirs. Overall we would definitely recommend this excursion.

Gotta party again! - The hike was definitely an experience. We didn't get a chance to see the sealife while Snorkeling but all 5 of us enjoyed the water. The food was good & the boat was JUMPIN!!

Not worth the money - The best part was climbing Dunn's river. The crew were serving bottles of Wray & Nephew with cheap white rum inside. I've been on many catamaran cruises and this one was really disappointing.

Mixed review - A very mixed review. Before the tour started lunch was served by the beach. The food was nice. When booking the tour was suppose to start at 12:30, however when we arrived we was told 1pm which was fine, however we didn’t set sail until gone 2pm. We arrived at the swimming/ snorkel site. My partner and myself got in for a swim but kept being asked to come closer ( we was not far away at all) the lady who kept asking for a real attitude with us and carried on throughout the tour. We arrived at the fall and it was very unorganised. The waiting around really ate into our time. I think I ended up signing my name 5 times. We was split up into 2 groups. One group has a very lively tour guide (ideal) and the whole thing was being filmed. They got to stop and take lots of pictures and swim in the falls. Our tour guide just seemed to rush us, didn’t get many photo opportunities and we were not being filmed. The falls are beautiful and I enjoyed climbing them I just wish we had a lot more picture opportunities. I’d rather climb it on my own. Because of all the waiting around we didn’t get any time to swim at the beach. It all ended up very rushed. The boat ride back was fun, lots of dancing and good music, I just wish there was more of it. I would go again if it was more organised

Lousy excursion - The most memorable parts… Everything ran late, waited A LOT. Nothing was organized, we got about 15 minutes to snorkel, because people were late and the food was mediocre. Other than the staff being very polite and nice it was definitely not worth the money. Transportation was also just a lot of waiting and rushing to go nowhere. We spent a whole entire day, eight hours to have a 15 minute snorkeling excursion and climb the waterfall for 45 minutes. Woohoo, there was no party.
