Highly Recommended Tour Day - I don’t normally book on Trip Advisor but our resort was in Trelawny and not near any starting point for the major tour companies. Trey communicated with WhatsApp to ensure we were picked up and he was early! He took us horseback riding and told us about his island as he drove. When we got to the excursion he made sure to tell us to be safe and warn us that the locals would be pushy selling things but just to ignore them. The horseback riding is very muddy so don’t wear nice clothes! After that we went to the Falls. This is considered an extreme hike so be careful!! Bring water shoes and don’t bring bags or anything. Leave in the car. After the waterfalls he took us by Starbucks and let us get our American pleasure in before returning to the hotel. During the car ride we discussed chocolate milk as his favorite drink. I told him that was my husbands favorite drink as well. He made a special trip the next day back to my hotel to drop off the local chocolate milk mix so I could take some to my husband. Overall 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Drivers Made the Trip - Our drivers were amazing, Carlos and his partner did a great job of telling us about Jamaica and DJing the drive. Horse back riding was just ok. They don't tell you that you have to take the horses on side of highway to get to the beach. The beach (and road) had so much trash along it. We didn't go in the water much and the ride along the beach wasn't very far. We had an incident with one of the horses and a rider in our party but the horse guides took care of everything. My horse guide was really good and told me about the local fish village we rode past. The falls were pretty but a little hard to climb, it was very slippery. We did the guided tour but you can make it on your own. The group we were with was big and we got separated, but that wasn't a problem. Don't walk through the merchant village on the way out of the park, the vendors were extremely pushy. We were told the other waterfalls has locations you can jump off rocks, this location you couldn't do that. Overall good trip, our drivers really made it worth it.
