Setting Sail on the Chukka Cat

The sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon as I made my way to the marina in Ocho Rios. The air was filled with the scent of salt and adventure, and I couldn’t help but feel a familiar thrill of excitement. As a former professional surfer, the ocean has always been my playground, and today, I was about to embark on a new kind of adventure: the Jamaican Catamaran Cruise.

Our guide, affectionately known as Momma T, greeted us with a warm smile and a wealth of knowledge about the island. Her stories of Jamaica’s rich history and culture set the tone for the day, and I found myself captivated by her passion. As we boarded the Chukka Cat, a sleek 65-foot vessel, I felt the gentle sway of the boat beneath my feet and knew we were in for a memorable journey.
