Fantastic trip because of the team - The entire team at Cherokee is exceptional and the whitewater trip was a great time for our entire family. This is a repeat trip for us as we had such a good time last year. From online booking, waivers, check in, to prep/pre-brief, and excursion, the team at Cherokee makes sure you have a great, and seamless, experience and can just enjoy the whitewater trip. They ensure you can focus on the fun/excitement while they handle all of the details, coordination and support in a very professional manner. We had Jamieson as a guide - exceedingly experienced on the water, knowledgeable about the area and very personable. Cherokee sets a standard when it comes to safety and professionalism that is lacking in some of the other outfitters in the area. They have a well-stocked merch store so if you forget any essentials (water shoes, glasses strap) or want something to remember your trip, they have it. They have onsite facilities to change/shower as well as games/activities for when you are waiting for your excursion. The very ample lunch mid-way through is a variety of sandwiches, shrimp, chips, watermelon, cookies and drinks...nice break to fuel up for the second part of the trip.

Excellent! - Amazing time! The rafting was exhilarating and fun! 🤩 I screamed through all the rapids. My husband and I absolutely loved when we were able to jump off the raft and swim in part of the river. Our guide Emma was great and a fantastic time was had by all!

Cherokee Rafting - If you're rafting the Ocoee, Cherokee Rafting is your place. From Mandy in booking, the bus driver and every guide we encountered, we received a warm welcome and helpful reception. They genuinely appear happy to host you and the hospitality is engaging and fun. We were fortunate enough to have Ethan as our guide. HIs intimate knowledge of the river and expert paddling skills allows him to offer an unrivaled adventurous ride. After a full day on the river, we booked the following day with Ethan. Ask for him by name, you will not be disappointed. Thanks to all of the Cherokee staff for providing us with unforgettable family memories!

By far the best rafting company on the Ocoee River! - Great trip down the upper and middle sections. Papie Goose AKA: Ezra did an amazing job keeping us all safe and inside the raft. What a fun adventure had by all! Thanks for an exceptional experience!

A great day - Took my family and some friends of theirs and had an absolutely great time. The river was amazing and all the crews I saw for Cherokee did a great job. I would highly recommend Ben as the guide, I am not discounting any others but he knew every part of that river and every trick to give you the best time based on what he thought you could give. These guides work to give you a good trip and the Parkers and crew appreciated it and the great day it was!!

Whitewater Rafting the Ocoee River - I highly recommend Cherokee Rafting for a fun filled and adventurous day of whitewater rafting. My son, daughter, their "significant others", and me (the fifth wheel) had a blast on the river the July 4th weekend (2024). The entire experience with staff, and especially our river guide Ben, was nothing short of exceptional. I would definitely do this again with Cherokee Rafting!
