Taste of Odesa - If you like to feel culture and taste of Odesa I really recommend you to take this tour. This tour starting at market where local citizens bring home made food made in special way which you can try for free. Continue in one store like express restaurant where you will try among other delicious food very tasty Ukrainian meal called ''Borsh''. Finishing in restaurant where you can taste really extraordinary and very good taste meal of Odesa with fish herring from Black sea, nuts, apples... which is make in front of your eyes. Guide Svitlana is really nice and providing you many interesting facts about multicultural, local and international food and tastes in Odesa in very good English. Considering that you will try and eat various food, few meals and fish price of this tour is really good.

Great food tour with a super guide - We went to a local food marked and tasted different kinds of traditional Ukrainian food (salo, honey, cheese and so on). After that we had some soup from a very local street canteen. After that we went to a traditional Odessa resto and had the full local menu, it was forshmak, roasted Odessa anchovies (called tyulka) and one beef stroganoff. It was a feast and very tasteful. Our guide was fun and knew a lot about Odessa and its rich history. I can highly recommend such a tour.

Odessa du schöne Stadt - It was a great tour! We talked to sellers, one of them even presented me some piece of sausage! Delicious food, especially a forshmak. Lovely atmosphere, pleasant and helpful guide! I recommend it for all visitors of Odesa.

Awesome Tour!! - We thoroughly enjoyed the food tour with Svetlana! She told us she has only been speaking English for 4 years but she has a terrific grasp of English so we were really able to ask her lots of questions about Odessa, Ukrainian culture and food. She is very knowledgeable about the food scene here and she also tells a good joke! She took us through the local market as well as some “local” restaurants which is something we wouldn’t have done without her, as the locations are off the beaten tourist path. I highly recommend this tour; you won’t be disappointed.

food tour and more - We had an excellent food tour with Svitlana. She took us to the old food market where we had various cheese local samples. We bought a marvelous goat cheese to bring home with us. We had tastes blood sausages and liked blood sausage something new for us. Our guide knew about architecture, history and music. As we walked she pointed out where famous composers and musicians had lived in Odesa. We also visited over 2 days various Ukrainian restaurants that we never would have found on our own. Our guide was a classical pianist and played beautifully for us in one place where we ate. A bonus. Great guide!

Tasty, real odessa and ukraine food - Really good experience, the tourist guide knows to show the real food from Odessa and Ukraine. The visit begins with a precise explanation of the local food from the point if view of a Odessa Citizen that goes to the market, where you can try and buy anything you like. Then a visit to non touristic bar and then to try the speciality of odessa the food that comes from the sea. I recommend it totally.
