The oldest museum in the Odesa Catacombs is also known as the Museum of Partisan Glory. It is located in a secluded section of the extensive labyrinth of mines. Visitors can hear numerous stories about the courageous partisans and the challenging life during World War II. The museum features various installations, including a bedroom, classroom, and weapons, primarily focusing on the Catacombs and the WWII era. This underground museum is very accessible, accommodating baby carriages and wheelchairs.
The tour lasts approximately 30-40 minutes, with an additional 25 minutes for public transport each way. The guide will meet visitors at the bicycle parking area of McDonald’s near the main bus station and travel together by public bus. Alternatively, visitors can meet the guide at the museum entrance 30 minutes after the scheduled time.
The public bus fare is about 24 UAH round trip per person, while a taxi costs approximately 100-150 UAH per car one way.
