Highlights
- Oia - Begin your sightseeing adventure in the north of the island, at the scenic village of Oia: one of Santorini’s most visually striking locations, the village has long inspired artists with its beauty, and sits overlooking the island’s caldera.
- Firostefani - Next, head to the traditional, cliff-top village of Imerovigli before venturing to Firostefani, another nearby village that’s famous for its distinctive, blue-domed church. You will also see and learn about the geological formation of the island, the genesis, and history of Santorini.
- Monastery of Profitis Ilias - Head to Profitis Ilias, which is the highest hill in Santorini. From its top (567 m) enjoy the panoramic view of the Aegean Sea. There, you will get to visit a Greek Orthodox chapel, listen to the sounds of Byzantine music and get a taste of their hand-made products. (optional visit)
- Perissa Black Sand Beach - Head south to admire the Black beach. Enjoy an optional lunch at a seaside restaurant, such as fresh seafood with a Greek salad, on the beach.
- Red Beach - Afterwards, it’s on to the island’s appropriately named Red and Black Beaches. Both are named for their distinctively colored sand, and offer stunning views over the Aegean Sea.
- Santo Winery - Lastly, wind your tour down with an indulgent stop at a local winery. Santorini has produced its own wine since ancient times, and sampling its varietals is the perfect way to get a taste of the island’s history. (optional visit)
- Santorini - The above itinerary is provided as an example only. The sights and attractions provide an idea of things to do during your tour and can be adjusted on the day to suit your personal interests.
Note that bespoke itineraries and custom additions to the tour are also available. Your tour will conclude when your private driver drops you off at your accommodation, cruise ship port, airport, or any other preferred location.

Wonderful time - The tour was wonderful. Michael was super friendly and knowledgeable about what he showed us. Because we have a 9 years old going with us, so we very appreciate that Michael gave us so many options to choose that fit our family.
We got picked up right in front of the villa.
Michael knows so many beautiful viewpoints that is not crowded. He is also an amazing photographer.
If I have a chance to visit Santorini again, I will definitely choose Kalisti tour again.
Thanks for all the wonderful time we have yesterday! 🙂

Fantastic Shore Experience - We took this tour when we stopped at the island as part of cruise! Chris was an excellent guide and took us to see all the highlights of the island while we were there! He gave great insight and a wonderful recommendation on dinner! We can’t wait to visit again!

Loved it all - We had t an amazing guide. Michael our driver did wonderful, he knew the area and great places to eat. Michael was very respectful and nice, my husband and I really enjoyed our time in Santorini

Blue and White Island - Theodore was very likable and accommodating to our wishes. He made sure we made it back to cable car at requested time, took us to get great photo opportunities, and had some great gyros!

Fantastic (once we made... - Fantastic (once we made it up the hill via cable car ). Our host Nick showed us the entire island and beat the crowds with his local knowledge We had a fantastic day seeing the busy tourist areas but also the remote. Well done

Theo is amazing! - We toured around Santorini today and it was one of the best things we’ve ever done even though we only went to two places (Oia and the Black beach). We had Theo as our guide and were absolutely amazed at how friendly, professional and polite he was. He was amazing on the drive, pointing out interesting things such as the volcano, different products in fields and many more. He took us to an amazing beach club/restaurant at the Black beach and got us free sun beds so we could relax and have dinner. He gladly took many photos and got us into exclusive spots for photos. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Half Day Tour of Historic Santorini from our cruise ship, Celebrity Cruises - We had an amazing day with Theodore! We were able to see everything we wanted and more! Our tour guide picked us up from the top of the cable car, where our ship, Celebrity Infinity tendered to. The pick up process was easy and we were off for a full day adventure! He took us to all of the highlights of Santorini and gave us so much helpful information. We enjoyed our half day excursion and we left fully satisfied with our tour and guide!

The best way to see Santorini! - Top shelf tour and the best way to see the island and offerings. Theodore was not only extremely knowledgeable and helpful, but absolutely focused on service, delivering a thoughtful, concierge/white-glove level experience. I wouldn’t want to “do” Santorini any other way. It felt like a skip-the-line experience, navigating the traffic, crowds, and impediments with ease and efficiency like we owned the place…don’t know how Theodore did it easily and with endless energy. We were guided with excellence, but also had opportunities to flex or shift based on interests. I estimate we saw 4-5 cities and another 3-4 key parts of the island, from tip-to-tip. Numerous times, Theodore walked and guided after being dropped off at the beginning of a section, only to go and get the van and pick us up at the end… no wasted steps or time for the group. We were able to do everything we wanted and felt complete/satisfied at the end of a long day. Santorini lived up to (and thanks to the tour, significantly surpassed) my expectations… much more than a postcard or someone else’s Instagram trip.

Excellent tour with a great guide. Definitely worth it!! - Theodore was an excellent tour guide. He did an amazing job taking us all over Santorini and answering our questions. Would definitely recommend taking his tour!!! Don’t go on a big bus where you have to do a lot of walking. He took us right to the entrances so we didn’t have to walk. He also took lots of pictures of our family for us. Don’t miss out. Worth the money!!!

Theo IS the best tour guide! - Our travel agent made all of our arrangements. We toured 9 cities in 10 days on our Mediterranean cruise. We experienced 7 private tours in that timeframe. Without a doubt Theo with Kallisti Private Tours was our absolute favorite tour guide. He immediately picked up on the fact that we're foodie(s) at heart. Thanks to Theo (a local) we're still talking about our favorite gyro & baklava that we tasted during our tour. We simply cannot rave enough about our day experiencing Santorini. The views in Oia are breathtaking! Thanks to Theo he was even able to help us avoid an extremely long line of tourist waiting for photo ops. He KNEW exactly where to go to avoid the tourist trap and get travel photos of Oia. We are determined to return and spend a week here thanks to Theo's personal tour. He was so incredibly patient with our elderly parents and simply determined to exceed our expectations. He even waited 2 hours for us due to the long cable car lines to get to the top of the hill. Our parents were simply not able to climb the 500+ steps to reach the top. Our experience was 12 out of 10 all thanks to Theo!!!!
