AUTHENTIC CRETE
At the designated time, you will be picked up from your accommodation or the nearest convenient location to embark on a unique day exploring the authentic and traditional Crete.
The day will commence with a visit to the Apokóronas region, nestled between Chania and Rethymno. This area is renowned for its exceptional beauty, attributed to the lush flora nourished by the pure, healthy underground waters of the White Mountains.
Throughout the journey, you will encounter charming, traditional villages that, nestled in this verdant valley, narrate the rich history and architecture of the region. It is in these very villages that the true Cretan spirit can be found.
During our stops, you will have the opportunity to visit ancient Byzantine churches, meet local artisans, explore Venetian buildings, and savor the region’s culinary delights, including its wines and traditional Greek coffee at a classic “Kafenío” or café.
After the tour, you will return to Chania.
