Santorini Sunset onboard Summer Boat - If you go to Santorini, this is a must do activity! We sailed into the sunset on Summer Boat with Captain Paolo and crew Eleni, Renos and Ekram. What a wonderful 5 hours….. simply amazing! Eleni was just something else. So warm, friendly and what a sense of humour! Loved every minute of it! The food, swimming and the ultimate sunset, just unreal! Something to treasure….a massive thank you to each and every one of you. Unrivalled Greek hospitality at its best! 🥰

An elegant and genuine island cruise experience - There are so many Santorini island cruises to choose from. Since I’ve done only one, I can’t say that Sirodakos is the best, but they are darn good. Let’s start with the logistics, the reception of the passengers by the crew, and the eagerness to provide a premium service. They were all top notch. The yacht left bang on time (if you’re walking down to the pier at Ammoudi beach, give at least 20 minutes to walk down the 200+ steps), it was in pristine condition and safety was top of mind. As a guest, there is a suspicion that the welcome might be artificial, but thankfully it was genuine. To me, this makes a big difference. All passengers have their preference - to be left in peace, to interact with the crew and other passengers, or just to be served. The crew were very mindful of each guest’s preference. The tour guide was young and enthusiastic, and shared with us some interesting stories: the history of the caldera, the volcanic geology and the environs and sights. She was charming, and her English was accented so it was a little difficult for some of the guests to understand everything she said. But with a little practice, she will be great. The tour took us to the hot springs (a little warmer but don’t expect hot water), the white beach and the red beach. We could swim and snorkel at every spot for as long as we liked. They threw some bread into the water to attract the fish. They served a delicious lunch after the second dip, and a choice of a cocktail as we headed into port. Spirodakos runs a very healthy and human business. I warmly recommend that you enjoy a cruise with them.

Must-Do Santorini Experience - This excursion is a must-do if you are visiting Santorini. My family of five adults sailed on the Caliente, with George. There were about 15 others on the boat but there was plenty of room to sit and relax. The sites were out of this world. The water was perfect. The food was delicious! The crew was constantly refilling our drinks. I would do this again in a heartbeat.

The trip itself was good,... - The trip itself was good, can’t fault the staff on the ship, the food was lovely. We went to the hot spring but couldn’t stray far from the boat and the water was cool, listening to other people experiences from other tours, they swam further into where the water was hot and felt like the hot springs. The start was a shambles. I had an email at 12.05 saying to prepare for the trip and follow instructions in previous email, our collect was at 13.15, we arrived at 13.05 and waited till 13.30 before calling after no collection to be told due to an error on there system our trip had been cancelled and to rebook for the following day. This wasn’t good enough as it was my partners birthday and I’d had it booked and planned for weeks in advance. Then then said the had a different trip at a later time which wasnt the same price. I agree to go on it, they said they would ‘try’ to refund the difference. On boarding the minibus, the driver had the office on the phone who then went on to say say the originating booking had been restored though departing from a different place, leaving at a later time with a different drinks package. Ended up being a lovely day though the stress caused at the start wasn’t needed. Once on the trip we discovered other families/ couples who the same thing had happened. Seems that they have over booked not one place but multiple which isn’t good when travellers have other plans and or leaving the following day. When this is going to be the highlight and was close to not happening. If it wasn’t for us getting in touch, we’d have been sat waiting and wouldn’t have gotten anywhere

Good Experience, But We Questioned the Value - My wife and I went out for a sunset, semi-private cruise in September; there were about 18 other guests on the boat. Our captain was Leo. Overall, we enjoyed the trip, but there were also some disapointmenting aspects. On the positive side: the vessel was very clean and nice; the safety aspects were all attended to; crew was polite and helpful. Captain Leo is very personable, knowledgable about the caldera and sites along the way. Great photo ops are everywhere during the cruise. Also on the plus side, the group was a fairly mature, well-behaved set of guests---not a bunch of 20-30-somethings looking to go out drinking on the water. On the negative side: Santorini was experiencing a lot of wind during the week we were there; flights into/out of the airport were cancelled as were many catamaran sailings. In retrospect, we believe our sailing should have also been cancelled; the sea was rough with up to 3 meter swells (and perhaps more on occasion). This made the ride much less enjoyable, and it was difficult to move around. In addition, the vessel is supposed to comfortably hold 20 people, but that was really not the case. We were quite crowded. Many guests plantedt themselves for the trip, so the unlucky ones were left to find whatever places were available. The food was okay, but nothing special considering that this particular cruise is Spiridakos's "luxury" cruise. We ate nothing (nor experienced anything) that would set this cruise apart as luxury, compared with the other two levels they offer. Perhaps it is that only 20 persons were on the boat, but that wouldn't make it "luxury" in our judgment. The food was pretty average--spaghetti and shrimp with a red sauce, deep-fried greasy fish, no-so-special bread and an average Greek salad. Not that we were expecting a gourmet meal, but it certainly didn't quality as anything near "luxury." Overall, it was an okay experience, but we were left wondering if there aren't some better options out there.
