A wonderful night on the Big Kanu! - We had a wonderful evening with our tour guides on the big Kanu! Our tour was on Christmas Eve and we were blessed with clear, calm weather. Georgia, the guide at the front of the boat made the night extra special, with her addition of delicious hot chocolate, Christmas Crackers, and fairy lights! Both guides had excellent knowledge of the local nature and Māori stories about the area and especially the “glow worms”. Paddling the Kanu was easy, very light work, and not required from everyone. This was such a fantastic experience and we highly recommend it.
