Outstanding - Unmissable. Everybody should visit Bagan at least once in their life. And when you do, contact Nai to make your visit memorable. A wonderful guide, and charming company, this is the most professional operation we have experienced. His fluent English, and amazing knowledge covered not only Bagan, but a great insight into Myanmar and its history. We had great conversations. Sad when it all came to an end after one of those beautiful sunsets.

Unforgettable experience. - The tour started with a pleasant surprise. What I thought was going to be a group tour turned out to be a private tour guided by a gentleman called Naing. His professional mannerism and smile immediately made me feel comfortable to be taken all around the amazing city of Bagan on the back of his e-bike. With every historical story that he delivered at each pagoda, I felt like I had jumped back in time living the lives of people in Myanmar at the ancient times. As the tour immersed me more and more into the beauty of the city Bagan itself, I learnt about the struggles and difficulties people are currently facing. Naing shared his childhood memories with his siblings and pare ts, which I was grateful for as I would not have heard, had I joined a bigger tour. At this point I was feeling like we were friends as I got to share my own stories as well. As the tour was getting close to the end we went on the boat along the river for a sunset cruise. The view was absolutley so breathtaking that we stayed on the boat longer that planned. Turns out, that was a bad idea, the boat got stuck out on shallow water because of the tide! While unexpected but secretly quite thrilling, we got rescued by the local fishermen. I completely fell in love with the ancient city of Bagan, no doubt I'd love to visit once more. Thank you to my guide/friend Naing. I highly recommend this tour if you want a more personal and authentic Bagan experience!!!!

Outstanding and memorable tour - Our visit to Myanmar had a lot of highlights, but our tour of Bagan was probably the stand out experience thanks to Naign and I would highly recommend anyone to seek him out as a guide. He is knowledgeable, personable and intelligent with a great sense of humour. He accommodated all of our requests that weren’t on the itinerary, such as hiring e-bikes, and was happy to answer any questions about the culture, politics and daily life of the country. Bagan is a fascinating place, but we also learnt a lot and had a good laugh!

Best Tour Guide in Bagan - We had a tour with Naing, he was simply the best guide we have ever experienced. His knowledge and passion for the history of his country was phenomenal, his English was great and any question was answered extensively. As it was a hot day for us, he was very considerate in making sure we were out of the sun while he was explaining all of his information. Everything was outstanding, from the start of the tour in the morning to his photography skills, to his fabulous bar tending for the Cuba Libre on the river cruise for sunset. He was very funny and got our sense of humour from the beginning! We thoroughly enjoyed our day and wish we had met him from the start of our trip! Would highly recommend him for a tour! We would love to bring him around the world as our tour guide!! 😀

Perfect way to spend the day - Thu Rain took us on our best day in Bagan. Excellent cultural, local, historical and religious understanding and a great storyteller. Great English and personal skills, we felt like we were just hanging out with a good friend the whole day. The lunch and boat trip was a great addition to visiting the pagodas and the lacquerware workshop was very interesting to see. Amazing value for the money, a higher rate would be well deserved! We thank you so much. Nick and Camilla.

Amazing tour guide in Bagan - Me and my girl friend joined an ad hoc half day private culture tour today. We had a great time with our tour guide, Rain. He speaks very fluent English and also shows his passion in explaining the details of temples, finding unique perfect place for sunset and interacting with us. We had learnt so much Burma’s history and culture from him throughout just a few hours in the afternoon. I would highly recommend Rain for travellers who are looking for a knowledgable and interactive guide. Moreover, the price is very reasonable and I am sure you will find a guide is very useful in understanding more about this beautiful cultural city, Bagan. Also, Rain gave us very good recommendations on the restaurant choices as well as the remaining ‘to-visit” list for our second day in Bagan.

Best Guide Company in Bagan - We (me and Joana my girlfriend) met Mr.Rain by coincidence and did the Pagodas tour by ebike. He has a very good English level, a great knowledge about every pagoda and temple and also a good knowledge about Burma in general. He is very energetic and will take you the unbeaten paths like the best sunsets. Having a guide in Bagan is mandatory and doing it with Mr Rain will perfect your experience.

Two day tour visiting temples around Bagan with boat trip and hot air balloon included - We had a great experience visiting Bagan with Thu Rain. He gave us a good amount of information for everything we visited and answered any questions we had. Thu Rain was always in a good mood and made the entire experience very enjoyable. You can be sure to count on him to learn about Myanmar's and more specifically Bagan's history. He also knew the best photo spots! The tour was very well organized and allowed us to explore Bagan from many different perspectives.

Terrible for a tour to have no one show up for the paying customer - There was no one to pick me up for the tour, I did some research and found that the local tour company had shut down, I am asking for a refund.

No visit as the company like so many in Myanmar is no longer in business. - This company has not traded for three years. But my money was taken and Viator issued me a ticket. With the help of the hotel manager we managed to get through to the owner who apologised and explained that there is no company. He has informed TripAdvisor of this previously. Him and his staff put my moan about money taken, ticket issued into context, it’s a small thing. I was in walking distance of Bagan, so I took myself on my own tour. The hotel manager asked if there was anything he could do to help me. I’d left Yangon on the overnight bus and at one stage thought I’d be late. Please remove this company from future listings.
