Fantastic photography tour!! - I traveled through SE Asia for 3 1/2 months, and my full day photo tour with Three-Treasures, and its fantastic guide, Thandar Oo, was my favorite activity of my trip! We toured a couple of temples, but at my request focused on local people. Thandar took me to some local villages that Three-Treasures supported, and I was able to photography and meet locals. This was just a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bagan!!

Faces of Bagan full day photography tour - I arranged a Faces of Bagan tour for 2 people whilst in Bagan. Communication was great and very prompt and a tour was fully organised in less than 24 hours. Thandar met us at the hotel lobby at 05:30 for sunrise in one of the only spots now available, allowing for great shots of the hot air balloons rising over the archaeological zone. A breakfast was organised (choice of going back for the hotel breakfast is there but eating in the field is much better - and the food/drinks excellent) and we did meet Ian over coffee to talk further about shooting goals for the day which was great. Thandar then took us off the beaten path to small monasteries, villages, local markets and farms, allowing us to witness and photograph the daily life thanks to her local knowledge and relationships. Interaction with novice monks, a boat trip back to Bagan during sunset and finally a candle lit temple capped an excellent day. Thandar was very knowledgeable, professional and easy-going as well as having a keen eye for photography. Thank you for a great job!

Wonderful time in Bagan - I had a wonderful time during my 3 day tour in Bagan with Thandar from Three Treasures. I chose a private photo tour as I am a keen photographer. Early start at sunrise to spots that mainly avoided the crowds, time to set up and shoot at leisure. Thandar knows all the best places, including hidden Pagodas where indoor low lighting shooting is ideal. Usually rested from 1 to 3 pm to avoid the heat, then headed out to Golden Hour shots followed by sunset. Thandar also very willing to model wearing traditional outfits for the photo shoots. Highlights for me was the sunset boat cruise, even though we got no sunset the lighting was surreal, also very much enjoyed the morning spent at a small monastery and cliff top Pagoda with local people and monks. I would strongly recommend Three Treasures, great job from communications and planning with Ian to the actual relaxed and private guided tour. It was more like an old friend showing you around their home town rather than a commercial tour, and I mean that in the best possible sense. And some of your money goes to local causes 3T support.
