Setting Off on a Family Adventure

As a travel writer and a mother of three, I am always on the lookout for family-friendly adventures that offer both fun and learning opportunities. The “Benagil to Marinha: Scenic 7 Valleys Trail Walk” seemed like the perfect blend of nature, history, and relaxation. Starting from Olhão, we embarked on this journey with excitement and curiosity.

The day began with a comfortable van ride from Olhão to Benagil. The kids were thrilled to see the landscape change as we approached the coast. Relaxing at Praia da Marinha

After the invigorating walk, we arrived at Praia da Marinha, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The kids couldn’t wait to dive into the clear waters, and I was happy to relax under the parasols provided. The beach was pristine, and the snorkeling opportunities were fantastic.

We spent a couple of hours enjoying the sun and sea, with the kids exploring the underwater world with their snorkeling masks. It was a joy to see them so engaged and excited, discovering the marine life and playing in the gentle waves.

Our adventure concluded with a visit to the Senhora da Rocha chapel, perched on a cliff with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. It was a peaceful and reflective end to a day filled with exploration and fun. As we returned to Olhão, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the memories we had created together.
