Next, the Trail of Terror summons you, with an onslaught of zombies and murderers lurking. Evade past the bloody and terrifying situations you’ll struggle to erase from memory.

Just as you perceive safety, the chilling grind of bone-cutting buzz saws reverberates down the path. In the past, the Slaughter Factory was a thriving enterprise, but the proprietor has now lost all sanity. Will the factory continue its mortal toll?

Extend your Halloween commemoration with bloody games of the fair, including the Lizzy Borden Axe Throwing. Thereafter, reminisce your terrifying experience whilst savoring themed snacks by a comforting fire.

Such a fun scary night! - This has been the best year ever! It seemed like they added more haunted houses from last year. The crew was amazing in performing. Parking was free which is always great. Slaughter house was a nice little thrill too.

The HAUNT - It was amazing. There was very short lines at the beginning and everything was worth it. I got some EXTRA hot chocolate and we were spooked but also felt safe. Everything was well organized. We had a lot of fun!

Great night out with friends! - Might be on the the best haunts in Maryland! First of all they do an amazing job with safety and security! As soon as you get in you feel safe in a large crowd! Once you’re in there is so much to do! They have an initial haunted house where you can get a picture taken with your group, then they have a lot to great activities, food, etc. while you’re waiting for the haunted trail and even have picnic tables and bonfires areas if it’s cold out! The food is great and reasonably priced and they sell merch, and have fun event related games! The haunted trail is the best tho! It feels like it lasts forever and they have over different themed haunts along the way! The animatronics and actors do an amazing job, and I honestly liked this better than Halloween horror nights in Universal. They ensure they you aren’t pushed through so you can enjoy the good scares!!!!

Many improvements this year! - Field of screams made some major improvements this year. Mainly, adding a bunch more fantastic actors and new spooky/frightening props along the trail in between the haunted houses. All the changes made for some great jump scares. We could not anticipate where they were coming from! The main haunted house before you enter the trail was great too. The first mile of the trail we had the opportunity to experience the hauntings alone. That’s the way this is fun, when you don’t know what’s coming up next! Unfortunately, just like last year, the last half mile got SO crowded. We were sandwiched in between two groups of 15+ middle schoolers that had no chill and wouldn’t let us enjoy the houses at the right speed. The ones in front ruined the scares for us, and the ones behind kept scuffing the back of my shoes they were so close. My suggestion is to add a halfway station along the trail that slows down traffic. They stagger the flow of people in the very beginning, but that falls apart by the end of the trail. You could even make the halfway station spooky or scary! “Lock” the crowd in a cage or something and have a scary guard let them out one group at a time. Other than the traffic on the trail, this years field of screams was great 😊

Outrageously expensive and stupid attempts to be scary - Very expensive and short. Kind of nuts they are charging over $70 for this thing plus more $ for s’mores. The “scary” stuff was the jump out and try to scare you. Very lame. Save your money.
