A Journey Through Time and Nature

Our family adventure began in the early hours of the morning as we set off from Chania to Omalos, the gateway to the Samaria Gorge. The anticipation was palpable as we arrived at the starting point, surrounded by the majestic White Mountains. The air was crisp, and the sun was just beginning to peek over the horizon, casting a golden hue over the landscape. Lunch at a local tavern provided a delightful culinary experience, with fresh seafood and traditional Greek dishes that satisfied our appetites after the long trek. As we dined with a view of the Mediterranean, I reflected on the day’s journey. As the sun began to set, we boarded the ferry back to our starting point, our hearts full and our spirits lifted.
