We’re going to undertake a scenic tour encircling some of the most picturesque villages and viewpoints in the region. The rapidly varying landscapes and views across short distances make this route ideal for getting a comprehensive overview of the area, which is situated to the northwest of Limassol city and spreads across the southern flanks of Mount Troodos. The shift in terrain and surroundings across the 9km stretch to Platres is breath-taking! From there, we’ll embark on a 5km descent towards the village of Pera Pedi. We’ll make a slight detour of about 1km to see Milomeris Waterfall and Milia Medieval Bridge. At an elevation of 800m, we’ll pass by Pera Pedi Dam, nestled amidst the evergreen mountain pine forest. Pera Pedi is steeped in lush greenery and boasts one of the island’s most enjoyable and salubrious climates! Before embarking on the final 10km stretch of our journey back to Omodos, we’ll have the opportunity to soak in the refreshing atmosphere of the village at the main square (‘Stathmos’).
