Following this, you’ll switch to the Ryu-Rei-style room, where the tea ceremony tables and chairs are arranged. Here, you’ll have the chance to relish Japanese and Okinawan sweets before savoring the bitter tea. You’ll also learn the appropriate handling of each tea instrument, and ultimately prepare and indulge in your own matcha, a type of green tea. The Tea Ceremony, while donned in a simple kimono, promises to be a memorable part of your journey. Everyone is welcome.
